As this is a Home-to-Home animal you are not required to fill out an Anti-Cruelty Society adoption application form. *** My dog`s name is Winston, and he is a maltipoo who is 10 yrs old going to be 11 this year. Hes been around a cat previously for 5 years and they got along well. He hasn’t been around a lot of toddlers. He needs a lot of attention and would do well with someone who is retired or works from home. Both of my kids are grown and moved out and I’m taking care of my mother who has Alzheimer’s by myself now. I don’t have the bandwidth to give him the attention he deserves and that’s why I’m looking for a home for him. He’s only 7 pounds and a lot of fluff so he can run in between your legs so not good for someone who can trip easily. He is a lap dog and is perfectly content just cuddling with someone. He does have a high-pitched bark and loves to talk when he’s excited. He is neutered and up to date with all shots. He did have bladder stones and he’s on a vet px diet and is due for his 4-month checkup to see if he has any left which I’m taking him to in another week. He just had a checkup, and his teeth cleaned end of last year. He’s in good health and very friendly. He doesn’t like to be on his back, so you have to hold him like a football but loves to be in someone’s arms. He is crate trained, and pee pad trained. I keep a pad in the bathroom for him in case, but he will go outside if you take him out regularly and as soon as he’s done eating. For adoption information, please email momi1600@gmail.com.

Crate trained: Squash does best free-roaming in a safeguarded (no access to stairs, trip hazards etc) space when home alone. Story
Little pup seeking the back of your recliner or couch to share. Introducing Teddy, a 2 ½ year old, 7-8 pound, Morkie (Maltese/Yorkshire Terrier cross) with a silky, soft coat requiring routine grooming. Teddy needed a few months to decompress and settle into foster care so we could get to know him and help him secure his forever home. This little guy’s personality is more like that of a Terrier; he’s independent, knows what he likes and doesn’t like, is playful, and loving to his people. Teddy does not trust people right away and will require time to adjust to the adopter. Teddy came to our rescue after his owner fled her home because of domestic violence issues. Understandably, he requires a very calm home, without children, and a patient, understanding adopter.  As you could maybe tell from the opening sentence, one of Teddy’s favorite places to lay is on the back of his foster mom’s recliner chair. He enjoys overseeing the activities of the house’s other dogs from his perch, having a good cuddle, as well as sleeping under his blanket. Teddy’s foster home has several small dogs in the home and he really enjoys playing tug and chase with them.   Teddy has some emotional scars from the life he lived prior to rescue, but he has made a lot of progress these past several months. We are hoping that you are that special person willing to give this boy a chance to become your best buddy. He deserves a wonderful new life. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Must have a securely fenced yard, and an adult only household. This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, provided inoculations, dewormed, groomed, tested for diseases, neutered, and microchipped. Story
Noah is a puppy known as a Malchipoo, a maltese/chihuahua and Poodle pup. He is a loving little guy who will start out a bit shy. He was born in a commercial breeding facility and dogs not have the same puppy experiences a dog might have that was born in your home. He wasn't exposed to the same things at an early age. That being said, he is learning and adjusting well now that he is with us. He is a happy guy who loves to play with his mates. He will need house training and regular training like any puppy would. He is best suited for a home rather than an apartment or condo setting. Noah is a little guy causing him to be more fragile, He can't be in a home with little kids but would be fine with older kids. Like all puppies, he will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all puppies—not only to give Noah important learning skills, but because you and your puppy will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together. Noah is fully vetted. He has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $600..00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so Liam wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): You must have a very flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). Simon Was Born In A Puppy Mill. Thankfully, the breeder didn't have use for him giving Simon a chance out of the mill. We took him and now he is free to find his forever committed family. Simon is a very happy active spirited dog . He is high energy and a vocal fellow if he isn't getting what he wants! He will do best in a home with a yard, not an apartment or condo setting. Simon is happy to have a companion dog to play with. He is fine with cats and all people. Simon needs to learn house manners. He has the basic skill but needs to be set on a routine. A belly band will be a good tool to keep him in check. He and his family would also benefit from a training class. Like all dogs he will need structure and a patient loving home. We recommend training for all dogs. You and your puppy/dog will create a stronger bond just for having gone to training. Simon is a little over a year old and fully vetted, He has been neutered, has received age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, Subsequent vaccines are at the expense of his adopter, His adoption fee is $600. Story
Popcorn is about 18 lbs., 15 years old and according to Google lens, a West highland terrier. Animal Care Services thought he was a Maltese mix and foster mom thinks he could be a Schnauzer/Maltese mix but knows for sure that he is the cutest scruffy EVER! His journey hasn't been all snuggles and treats as he lived on someone's apartment patio for years, lying in poop, grass and other debris until Animal Care Services came for him and God's Dogs Rescue was able to save the little scamp. While he still loves his humans, other gentle pups his size (cats unknown) and his squishy toys and chewy, understandably he has a few emotional scars especially regarding vet visits and grooming. Slow, patient progress in these areas has helped him be more confident, but will need a patient adopter to help him adapt. Things that make Popcorn super happy are spending time with his humans after he gets to know them, car rides and walks in the park. He loves, loves his squishy toys and generally carries one around with him. His most favorite game is for his person to chase him and pretend to take his squishy away. He also like to run zooms and if there isn't a person to play with he will often throw his toys for himself. Doesn't that just make you want to throw his stuffies so he can play?? He's a healthy guy for his age with just a few old man issues (beginnings of cataracts) that he takes supplements for and should continue taking. His liver enzymes were high when tested but he is on a med to help them normalize. Can you give this boy the right lap to live in?? He needs very patient/knowledgeable adopters, no children- adult only because he will bite if afraid... It is a work in progress but he is becoming the goofy boy he was meant to be while living on the nasty hot and freezing porch for most of his 14 yrs :( GIVE HIM A CHANCE!!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)
