Story
Hope is a little Maltese with a big heart-and a past we can only imagine. At just 3-4 years old and only 5 pounds Hope has already been through more than any dog should. We don't know what her life was like before rescue, but when she arrived, her left eye was horribly infected and damaged so it had to be removed. She was spayed and had her teeth cleaned as well and has been deemed a healthy girl ! Thankfully, that chapter is behind her now. She has healed beautifully and is finally ready for the part of her story she has always deserved: a loving family of her own. Hope will need a patient, understanding home where she can learn that she is safe, cherished, and truly loved. She enjoys having her head and belly rubbed, although when she's had enough, she'll simply wander off and find a quiet place to relax. She would be happy as your one and only, or with another small, gentle dog. Large dogs make her uncomfortable. She's frightened by loud noises like vacuums, thunder, and lightning, and she's still learning that the world doesn't have to be scary. She uses potty pads and will also go outside when she has a securely fenced area. Leash walking is new to her-right now, she freezes-but her foster family is patiently working with her. She's also learning "sit" and doing wonderfully! And if you happen to have a tasty treat? Well... Hope is VERY food motivated. Give her something that smells delicious and she'll put on an entire little song and dance to convince you she deserves it. Hope doesn't need a perfect family. She needs a patient one. A family willing to show her, day by day, that gentle hands, soft voices, belly rubs, warm beds, and unconditional love are what life is supposed to feel like. She has already survived the hard part. Now she just needs someone to help her discover how beautiful life can be. Could you be Hope's forever? Story
Meet Daisy Say hello to Daisy, a precious 4-year-old Maltese mix weighing just 8 pounds-and this little girl is pure sweetness wrapped in a soft fluffy package! Daisy is a wonderful little companion who is completely house trained and does well on a leash. She absolutely adores her people and loves nothing more than snuggling close, giving kisses, and soaking up all the love she can get. When she's not cuddling, Daisy enjoys playing in the yard, chewing on her favorite bone, and curling up in her soft, fluffy donut bed for a cozy nap. She loves people and other dogs and has a gentle, joyful personality that seems to bring happiness to everyone she meets. Daisy does have a neurological disorder, but with the right living environment and medication, it is very manageable. She is living a happy, fulfilling life and has so much love and joy to give. Her ideal home will be a quiet, peaceful household without the activity and excitement of young children, along with someone who is willing to be home with her much of the time. Daisy thrives on consistency, routine, calm surroundings, and companionship. Give this little girl a predictable routine and a person to love, and she will give you a lifetime of snuggles, kisses, laughter, and unconditional love. Daisy isn't looking for a busy life-she's looking for a peaceful one filled with love. And in return, she'll bring pure joy to your world. Story
Meet Rhemus, an adorable little Maltese mix! This sweet boy is about 2-3 years old and weighs about 10 pounds, but he has plenty of personality packed into his tiny frame. He is sweet, gentle, playful, with just a bit of goofiness. He will play but he's also very happy to settle in for some serious cuddling. He gets along well with both people and other dogs and has an easygoing personality once he gets comfortable. He may be a little shy or nervous when he first meets you or arrives in a new environment, so he'll need a little patience and time to feel comfortable. Once he settles in, his sweet and playful personality really comes out. He is potty trained, low-shedding, and loves being around his people. Whether he's playing, following you around the house, or curled up next to you on the couch, he's happiest being part of the family. If you're looking for a small companion with a gentle personality, playful side, and lots of love to give, this little guy may be just what you're looking for. He is loyal and ready to give all his love to his forever family.
