Bella is a sweet, completely blind senior girl who navigates life with a brave and tender heart, finding her confidence through the presence of Chanel. Bella may not be able to see the world around her, but she feels every bit of it especially the love she receives from Chanel and her people. Bella is calm and deeply affectionate. She loves nothing more than curling up on the couch for a long snuggle session, and she'll happily nestle right on top of Chanel while they wait for their person to come home. She enjoys short walks outside, but once she's done her business, she's ready to be scooped up and held close. For Bella, the world feels safer in someone's snuggly arms. Chanel: 15 year old Poodle. Chanel is the quiet guardian of her little family. She is mellow and easygoing. She loves being outside at her own comfortable pace and greets her favorite humans with the sweetest howls of excitement when they return. Chanel will wait faithfully by the door until you're home. She is also a gentle, watchful soul who has made it her life's purpose to look after her best friend, Bella. Despite living with arthritis, she moves through each day with grace. After 10 beautiful years together, I’m facing one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make: finding a new loving home for my sweet Bentley. Due to relocating for work, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to find a family who can give my little love the life and attention he deserves. This has been a long, heavy decision, because he truly is the love of my life. He is 10 years old, full of personality, and wonderfully sassy! He can be a little reactive and vocal with other dogs when he’s on leash, but that’s not the full picture. Off leash, he absolutely loves other dogs! He has enjoyed dog parks, doggy daycare, and has doggy friends he loves to play tag with. His favorite things include: Lamb treats, cuddles and being close to his person, long walks and exploring, playing tag with his doggy friends, and water- he loves it! He has brought 10 years of love, laughter, companionship, and sass into my life, and my greatest hope is to find who will cherish him just as I do.

We have had Polo and Prince since they were born. Polo is 7 years old and Prince is 6. They love eachother very much and will need someone to adopt them together. Polo is a very smart and loyal dog. However, he is very reactive, has anxiety and can be aggressive. He does not enjoy being picked up. He has never bit anyone but will charge at people he does not know. He requires patience. Prince is a goofy teddy bear, he does not require as much training or patience as polo. Prince enjoys being cuddled. They are not house trained. Even if taken for walks they will still go potty on the house, not always on a wee wee pad. They are not good around small children or other dogs. They need someone that will dedicate time to them. They are our first dogs and although we love them very much, our lifestyles have changed and we do not have the time to care for them as we once did.

We really want her with another dog buddy that can help her show the ropes." Level of dog ownership experience required:JUST A REALLY PATIENT SOUL – Becky is a special fluff. She's extremely shy and is learning how to be a dog. She needs a lot of time to get comfy and a lot of grace. She's very gentle. We know there's a very special lady inside of her you're just not going to see it for a while. If you're okay with that, then this girl is for you. If you want a golden retriever personality on day one - not the girl for you. Energy level:Lower – Needs a daily 30 minute walk or window of quick paced exercise (minimum) in addition to potty break strolls (10-30 min each). Also needs significant socializing opportunities outside the home and mental stimulation at home like tricks training practice, chew items, and puzzle toys. (This is regardless of dog size – many small breeds were designed for lots of activity and will exhibit unwanted behavior when they’re understimulated.) Energy Level- She is very chill but will come by for some affection. Most of the time she is happy in her doggy bed. Tolerance to City- Nope. Needs a home in the burbs. Potty Training- Slowly getting the hang of it. She's decompressing still. But we know she'll get there. She's starting to pee outside. She only goes twice a day so she's predictable and wants to be a good girl, just feeling a little upside down. Comfort Level w/ Strangers- While she's still scared and shy, she is not an aggressive dog. Even in her panic mode, she didn't try to nip or bite at anytime or showed any aggressive behavior. She is very sweet. Separation Anxiety- Nope, no sep anxiety/ She will sometimes follow me into other rooms when I move, but also fine on her own. She has been left alone without much hovering the first few days so she can decompress. She has not barked yet! Leash Manners- She just shuts down and sits and starts shaking or lies down. Can not get her to walk on the leash yet. Cuddle Bug Level- Medium- Loves snuggles and belly rubs. Very Sweet. Crate Training- Loved the Crate. It gives her a sense of safety. She also loves her doggy beds. She sleeps well in a crate at night. Also in the soft carrier in the car. Medical status:Healthy as far as we know. Up to date on their DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines; heartworm tested if coming from Tennessee or Puerto Rico; spayed/neutered; microchipped; treated with dewormer upon intake How did this dog end up with Social Tees?Most of our dogs come via partner groups who help us save them from shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia in Tennessee, Los Angeles, and Puerto Rico. There are very few spay/neuter resources there and many more animals in those areas than there are people to adopt them. Rescue groups like ours bring them to the northeast where the desire for pets like these allows us to save their lives. PLEASE NOTE: We cannot guarantee any breed mix, exact age, or full grown size (if the dog is under a year old). We do our best with very educated guesses.
