Story
Meet Jake and Einstein! Oh my, these two are the sweetest little boys. Their owner sadly moved into a memory care facility and could not bring the boys with him. They were left alone in the home for several weeks before other family members reached out to us to surrender them. We're glad to have them in a foster home! They are wonderful.  Jake and Einstein are senior boys. Jake is around 12 and Einstein around 10. They are in pretty good shape and don't ask for much.  These two sweethearts are the definition of easy-going – low energy, low maintenance, and full of love. They thrive on companionship and are happiest when they’re close to their humans, whether snuggled up on the couch or quietly keeping you company around the house. Both dogs are incredibly affectionate and gentle, making them perfect companions for families, kids, seniors, or anyone looking for loyal, loving sidekicks. They’re also cat-friendly and get along with everyone they meet – a true pair of social butterflies! Jake and Einstein have been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Jake is going to get a good grooming soon too. Their combined adoption fee is $400   We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet Harvey! Harvey and his 7 siblings were born to mom Mandy.  Mandy is a Maltese mix but we do not know who the pup's dad was. The pups will likely grow to be small adult dogs. They are currently 6 weeks old and will be ready to leave mom at 8 weeks of age.  Mandy's pups are just darling. Some are a little fluffier than others but they are all lovely pups with great temperaments. They are tiny and fragile little pups and will need proper socialization and training to become good canine citizens. We are looking for families who are dedicated to helping their pups develop into healthy and well adjusted dogs. Due to their small and fragile size, we prefer to place pups only with families who have children older than 8 years of age. For larger litters our adoption process is as follows: We review applications in the order they are received. We set up meet and greets with the puppies in order. The first applicant will have first pick of the litter, the second applicant will have second pick of the litter etc. We will set a date and time for each applicant to meet the pups. Once the pups are 8 weeks old, they are ready to begin their trial adoptions. Our trial adoption period is two weeks and that gives applicants sufficient time to ensure the pup is indeed a good match. Applications can be submitted via our website savinggreatanimals.org. We respond to all applications within 48 hours. The puppies will have received their first puppy vaccinations and deworming. Spay and neuter is included in the adoption fee. We prefer to spay/neuter between 8-12 months of age and this is built into the adoption contract. Adoption fee for the pups is $595. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
