Story
Meet Byeori
A playful little pup learning that the world can be a kind place.

Rescued from a hoarding home, Byeori is now discovering the joys of friendship, outdoor adventures, and gentle affection.
With people
Byeori can be shy at first, but treats help him make friends! He warms up fairly quickly to women and soon allows gentle petting. He is more cautious around men, although he will accept their treats and needs more time before feeling comfortable being touched.
Once he trusts you, he can be picked up with support under his body and may even roll over to show you his belly.
With other dogs
Byeori is sociable and likes approaching both familiar and new dogs to say hello and invite them to play. He enjoys friendly dogs whose play style suits him.
He is comfortable with the larger dogs he lives with, but unfamiliar large dogs and very energetic dogs can feel overwhelming.
With cats
Byeori has not met cats yet. He tries to chase birds outdoors, so his compatibility with cats is unknown.
Energy and walks
Byeori has a moderate energy level and enjoys outdoor activities, followed by quiet rest. Being a puppy, though, he recharges quickly and is soon ready for something fun to do again!
He walks well in quiet areas. When a scent catches his attention, he likes taking his time to investigate and may hesitate briefly before moving on. Busy roads still make him nervous, and he sometimes turns in circles when unsure, but he is gradually improving.
Life at home
• He has shown no food guarding toward people or other dogs.
• He uses pee pads and also toilets outdoors, although potty breaks during walks are still a work in progress.
• He usually uses his pads reliably, with occasional accidents, especially on rugs. Sometimes he gets so busy playing in the yard that he comes back inside and uses a pad!
• Car rides can make him tremble at first, but he tends to settle with reassurance or the company of familiar dogs.
• He enjoys watching people outside and occasionally barks at them.
Byeori feels comfortable with other dogs and has not shown separation anxiety in his current setting. However, he has never been completely alone, so learning to stay home by himself would be a new experience. If adopted as an only dog, he may need extra support and gradual practice with alone time.
Byeori is looking for a patient family who will let him build trust at his own pace and guide him through puppyhood with gentle, consistent training. A compatible canine friend could help him feel at home.
