Story
**🏠 Currently in a Vancouver foster home** Hi! My name is Oat, and I'm a tiny 2-year-old Maltese weighing just 3.2 kg (7 lbs). People always tell me I have the cutest little face and floppy ears that make me look a bit like a Cocker Spaniel. I have a long body, short little legs, and a heart that's even bigger than I am. My life didn't start the way every dog deserves. I was rescued from a breeding facility, and now I'm finally getting the chance to discover what it means to be loved. I think I'm going to like this new life very much. If you're looking for a best friend, I might be your perfect match. I absolutely adore people. Whether we've just met or we've known each other forever, I'm always happy to say hello with a wagging tail. I also get along wonderfully with other dogs, so I'd be happy living with a canine sibling or being your one-and-only little companion. One of the things my foster family loves most about me is how quiet and gentle I am. I rarely bark, I'm easygoing, and I enjoy simply being near the people I love. I'm also a great eater! I happily finish my meals, especially my Royal Canin Starter kibble, and I never say no to a tasty piece of boiled potato and sweet potato. Right now, I'm learning to use pee pads and adjusting to life in a home. Everything is still new to me, but I'm trying my best every single day. Since I never had the chance to experience a normal family life, I'll need someone patient to teach me the basics—walking on a leash, enjoying daily walks, and learning good manners. The good news is that I love people and I'm eager to learn, so I know we'll have lots of fun figuring everything out together. I've already left my past behind. Now all I need is a family who will love me, guide me, and promise that I'll never have to wonder where I belong again. Could that family be yours?

✅️Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet Noah🤍 💙 Noah’s Account: @aki.noa.sushi 1. Health • Neutering/Spaying: Completed • Other: Microchipped; had bladder stone surgery and molar extraction. Fully blind in one eye due to cataracts. Experiences coughing when temperatures drop, requiring steroid medication if coughing occurs. Has partial hearing loss. All teeth except molars have been extracted, so he cannot eat hard treats. 2. Rescue Story • Noah was rescued from a breeding facility alongside Aji and Aki before Adogs officially formed. He was adopted, but after his adopter passed away suddenly in September 2024, Noah returned to Adogs. He is looking for a family to help him overcome his grief and begin a new chapter of life. 3. Personality & Habits • With People: Very affectionate and sweet, loves both strangers and familiar people, and often approaches first asking for pets. • With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs, both familiar and new friends. May show cute jealousy if another dog gets attention. • Separation Anxiety: Calm when left with Aki, though Aki has separation anxiety that affects Noah. If left with another dog or person, he waits quietly. • House Training: Fully pee pad trained (100% accuracy), though he prefers pooping outdoors. He tends to pee near the edge of the pad, so surrounding it with a fence or holder is helpful. • Hygiene/Grooming: Very calm and well-behaved during baths, drying, and brushing. • Walking on Leash: Walks well on a leash without pulling and keeps pace nicely. 4. Special Notes • May bark briefly when a stranger enters the room for the first time. In the evenings, he may bark for 5 minutes normally, or 20–30 minutes if he has extra energy. • Has a strong food drive and eats quickly when excited for meals, so feeding slowly and calmly is recommended.

Meet Panda! Little Panda is around 4 years old and came to us with his friend Alexander. They did not come from a loving home but they are adjusting well in their foster homes.  Panda is a friendly boy. He loves people, loves attention and is very affectionate. He gets along well with other dogs but has not met a cat. He will do best in a home with older kids (12 and up). Panda is an energetic boy who loves his walks. He is not a couch potato though he can relax alongside you just fine. He does not like to be alone - which is not uncommon for rescue dogs. They are a bit unsettled and that can cause some attachment to humans he likes. He can learn to spend time alone here and there. He can bark at times and for this reason is not suitable for apartment living. He is working on potty training - he did not learn this in his previous home - and his foster mom is working hard to help him understand. He is catching on an doing well.  Panda is scheduled to be vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
Meet Gidget! Hi! I’m Gidget. I’m a smart, friendly, trusting and calm 2 year old (poodle/terrier??) bundle of love who adores my special people. I love to cuddle on the couch and could do that all day.  I started my life in a hoarding situation where I lived outside with lots of other pups. But I’m super duper resilient and have already learned to live inside a house, sleep and eat in a crate, and, I don’t want to brag, but I taught myself how to do stairs on my first try (with just a little encouragement from my foster mom). And I never have accidents in the house! There’s nothing I can’t learn and I’m eager to be the smartest pup around! So far I’ve mastered “sit”, I understand the gentle “uh huh” sound I hear when I need to stop doing something, and I’m getting pretty good at “wait” at the door. I’ve even learned to fetch toys. And all that in just a little over 2 short weeks! I love, love, love walks and even do a cute prancing thing when I’m out in the wilds of my neighborhood. My humans love it! And did you see my fabulous ears? Yep, they bounce when I prance! I do sometimes get nervous when I see people or dogs on our walks. When that happens I give a little bark and maybe even a growl, but my foster mom gently lets me know everything is ok and I relax and trust her. I’m content with a short out and back or a long walk, whatever you want. I’ve been on one hike so far and really liked it!  Even though I used to live with lots of dogs,I don’t mind when my foster mom leaves me home alone, especially when she comes back from the store with treats. Who doesn’t love treats? What makes me happy you ask? First and foremost, YOU! And as I’ve already boasted, I love walks, hanging with my human anywhere, kisses, hugs, belly rubs…you get it. I can be a real cuddle monster and will even follow you around the house. Although I don’t get to sleep on the bed where I am now, I would love to sleep on yours! If that’s not ok, I’ll be good in a crate. I’m pretty chill about that stuff.  I’ve been told that sometimes I don’t share my people well (and maybe other stuff) with my dog friends in the house. That’s probably true… I do like other dogs but I prefer to hang with humans. Humans are the best. I’ve never met a cat but I do find squirrels intriguing when they run. My foster mom thinks that I could do well with a cat who knows how to teach me manners. You know what they say, “Dogs drool and cats rule!”  My foster mom wants me to share with you that because I’m still learning to share my person and other stuff, I might do better with tweens and older kids. But, as I’ve already gloated, I’m smart, a quick study and motivated to learn, so if you have youngsters like me and you’re good at teaching me stuff, we might be able to work something out!  So, that’s me in a nutshell. Oh, I forgot to mention, I’ve been told sometimes I have a cute little snore when I sleep and am having fun dreams. And dreams make my big ears twitch!  Gidget is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
