Story
✅️Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet Noah🤍 💙 Noah’s Account: @aki.noa.sushi 1. Health • Neutering/Spaying: Completed • Other: Microchipped; had bladder stone surgery and molar extraction. Fully blind in one eye due to cataracts. Experiences coughing when temperatures drop, requiring steroid medication if coughing occurs. Has partial hearing loss. All teeth except molars have been extracted, so he cannot eat hard treats. 2. Rescue Story • Noah was rescued from a breeding facility alongside Aji and Aki before Adogs officially formed. He was adopted, but after his adopter passed away suddenly in September 2024, Noah returned to Adogs. He is looking for a family to help him overcome his grief and begin a new chapter of life. 3. Personality & Habits • With People: Very affectionate and sweet, loves both strangers and familiar people, and often approaches first asking for pets. • With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs, both familiar and new friends. May show cute jealousy if another dog gets attention. • Separation Anxiety: Calm when left with Aki, though Aki has separation anxiety that affects Noah. If left with another dog or person, he waits quietly. • House Training: Fully pee pad trained (100% accuracy), though he prefers pooping outdoors. He tends to pee near the edge of the pad, so surrounding it with a fence or holder is helpful. • Hygiene/Grooming: Very calm and well-behaved during baths, drying, and brushing. • Walking on Leash: Walks well on a leash without pulling and keeps pace nicely. 4. Special Notes • May bark briefly when a stranger enters the room for the first time. In the evenings, he may bark for 5 minutes normally, or 20–30 minutes if he has extra energy. • Has a strong food drive and eats quickly when excited for meals, so feeding slowly and calmly is recommended.

Story
Currently in a Vancouver foster home Hello… my name is Hari. I’m a 5-year-old Maltese mix girl, about 6kg, and for the first time in my life… I’m learning what it means to live for myself. For many years, my whole world was a tiny metal cage. No sunlight. No soft voice calling my name with love. Only the sound of humans demanding one thing from me over and over—to be a mother, again and again, even though I never got to hold or keep any of my babies. Whenever my puppies were taken from me, I tried to chew through the bars to reach them. My teeth became worn down from trying so hard… trying to find them, trying not to give up. I cried quietly and waited, hoping someone would finally come for me. One day, someone did. I was rescued—saved from that place—and for the very first time, I was given a chance to live a life that belongs to me. A life where I never have to breed again. A life where nothing precious is taken away from me anymore. I’m a very calm, very gentle girl. I hardly ever bark. And when I see people, fear isn’t the first thing I feel—joy is. I walk toward you slowly, shyly, but with a little wagging tail… hoping you’ll notice me. Hoping you’ll love me. But everything outside that cage is new to me. Home life, walks, daily routines, learning where to go potty… I’m five years old, but in many ways, I’m just beginning. I will need someone patient, someone kind, who can teach me what every dog should’ve known from the start—that I’m safe, that I’m wanted, and that love doesn’t disappear. I love people more than anything. I feel most at peace when I’m beside a human. If the house is empty for too long, I might become anxious… not because I’m difficult, but because I spent so many years wondering if anyone would ever stay. I’m learning that family means “forever,” and I hope you can show me what that feels like. I don’t want to be a tool anymore. I want to be a family member. I want to spend the rest of my life giving and receiving love—real love, the kind that stays. I’m searching for someone who will become my very first true family. Someone who will fill the years I have left with warmth, safety, and memories I’ve never been allowed to have. If you choose me… I promise I will give you every bit of my heart. With hope, Hari 🤍🐾

Story
Rita is an adorable, friendly, spunky little 7lb bundle of joy! She gets along with anyone and everyone. She loves to give kisses and be as close to her humans as possible at all times! She is pretty high energy and would do best with a young, active owner commited to getting this girl exercise and socialization. She would not do well at home alone all day while her owner is at work, for example. Rita is located in Houston TX and will not be transported until she is adopted. The adopter is responsible for paying for her transport in addition to the adoption fee. The adoption fee is $850. The first step is to fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org No inquiries will be responded to - only completed applications.

Story
Meet Vivi! Vivi is a bright, energetic 10-month-old pup who is always ready for fun! She loves to chase and wrestle with her dog friends or play an enthusiastic game of fetch with her humans. On walks, she enjoys taking in all the scents of the world and thrives with a good balance of exercise, playtime, and mental enrichment through puzzle toys. This smart girl is eager to learn and highly food-motivated, making her a quick study with training. Vivi is already potty trained, crate trained, and she’s progressing with clicker training for recall and correcting behaviors like barking at the mail carrier and people walking by. The same training is being used during walks when we see other dogs. Vivi also barks when visitors first come in, but she warms up fast—usually a treat and a few pets are all she needs to relax. Vivi can become uncomfortable if she feels cornered or trapped or you try to take something of high value from her. In those moments, she may growl or snap to communicate that she needs space. While she’s not a total lapdog, Vivi loves being near her people — often stretching out across your legs or resting close by. She’ll make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates an intelligent, playful dog who’s always up for an adventure. We would prefer to see her in a family with kids over 12 only. Vivi needs to be in a home with a yard. She is an alert barker which is not suitable for an apartment.  Vivi is vaccinated, chipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Starlight is a 5 yr old white Maltese. She is a great dog! he is learning to walk on a leash and goes out 4 times per day. She likes belly rubs. She is still wary of people but she is warming up and will say hello to strangers and then run and hide. She sleeps in a crate and loves to hang out in the crate if she is alone at home. She spends most of her time sleeping, but occasionally plays with toys. She's getting more energetic as she gains weight and eats a healthy diet. She doesn't bark very much, except when she gets scared (like if there's a loud noise) but even then she only barks 1 time and then stops. She likes to give kisses and will sleep on your lap for hours. She can go up stairs on her own but is still learning to go downstairs. She sleeps all night in her crate (with a blanket over), and then sleeps most of the day on the living room floor or in her crate. She is working hard on potty training usually goes on a puppy pad. She circles when she needs to go. She loves to walk and does so 3-4 walks per day if given the opportunity. She is nervous around all humans and dogs but she is not aggressive. She just needs a little more time to get used to people and pets. She will make a great dog for anyone! :) ----- A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters: Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means: ✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment. ✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing). ✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed. The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like. Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are. Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type. ----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.

These pups are in Newcastle, Washington too!

The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal due to their fees they charge the rescue but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. The oh so beautiful inside & out Jesse, whose picture screamed the disgusting neglect he was in, in a death camp of a scary shelter in CA. He looked absolutely defeated & plain sick & we knew he as deathly ill with pneumonia. He was posted online on social media begging for his life to be saved. The shelter was sending out pleas for a rescue to help him or he was going to be euthanized. The shelter said he was a sweetheart but still no one came to save him. The reality is that when a dog is posted with pneumonia rescues know it’s going to cost a fortune & may financially break them & they still may not survive. We finally were able to get Jesse out with a lot of back & forth with the shelter & once we did it was determined immediately that Jesse was the biggest sweetheart ever. We did determine though that he was extremely ill & may not survive. He stunk & was matted badly. His foster mum took him to get a bath as his fur was so stained all over. We had him booked into our vets but had to rush him in immediately to another vet as he was not doing well & we were frightened with his breathing & it was determined that he need meds, fluids etc until he could get the care from our regular vet. Once our regular vet was open Jesse was admitted immediately for 5 days straight to save his life. If we did not rescue Jesse the pneumonia alone would have killed him in the shelter. After we rescued Jesse, he is coming back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find him his loving forever home. We have hired a wonderful private transporter so Jesse could have one on one time with a married couple who are absolutely obsessed with animals. Along his journey here he gets to be apart of the sites & experience them. The absolute insanity to think this baby doll ended up in one of the highest kill shelters in CA is soul destroying. Jesse just wants to be loved. Disturbing to think no one wanted him & he was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. When we first rescued him, he ate multiple bowls of food as if he is making up for lost time. In his foster home he eats clean. Fruits, vegetables, grains, raw meat & other proteins along with supplements. He also adores a good treat which are homemade. When it’s time to eat he gets very excited & can jump high with enthusiasm. Jesse is a very soft gentle soul, he is so easy his foster mum said considering what he has endured. His foster mum said Jesse is a very sweet dog & loves his humans. He does get excited now & has a big zest for life, love & adventure. This boy will look at you with so much gratitude & admiration. He is so regal while sitting watching you. He also loves to be with his buddies & just lay with them or do whatever they are doing. She said he is really such a good & smart boy. He loves everyone he meets after he knows them & enjoys being cuddled & given love. He also enjoys snuggling up on the couch & spend his day relaxing. He enjoys sleeping on the couch & sleeping in bed with you at night. His foster mum still cannot believe someone would be so cruel & neglectful to Jesse. Jesse’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard. He enjoys going out into the backyard in his foster home & having a wander around & sunning himself. Jesse has been great with his baths because he started having them with us in his loving foster homes the moment he was rescued so he is used to them. He has also started getting used to being dried with a hairdryer. He will stand up & hug him. He has put on a good amount of weight since being in his loving foster home & was so thin when first rescued. Jesse rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & will sit in his car seat next to you with his dog friends. He also enjoys looking out the window. Jesse is a wonderful walker on his harness & leash & loves going on many walks. We are looking for a forever home for Jesse where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. We are also looking for a crate free home for the little lad only. We cannot stress this enough that due to the trauma he experienced at the shelter he must not be put into a crate. He was left in a cage in the shelter until we rescued him. Jesse is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Jesse has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & fostered with other dogs in his foster home & does well with them & enjoys their company. He absolutely needs another dog in his forever home for him to thrive. Jesse is roughly 8 years old & 18 lbs, he is male, & a bichion frise possibly & neutered. He had the major emergency vet visits & emergency hospital stay for 5 days on fluids, intravenous medications, x-rays to save his life with severe pneumonia. We have Jesse just had full major dental scale & polish & had several teeth removed. He still does have teeth left but not many but that most certainly does not stop him eating his food he loves. He is microchipped, up to date on his shots, including DHPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we do not redo them only rabies as we do not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. After Jesse’s dental we have spent over $4000 to save this precious boys life. Jesse has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had him around small children in the rescue so we do not recommend children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Jesse was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Jesse’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Jesse potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Jesse has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Jesse & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Jesse who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little lad. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Jesse has an adoption fee of $850 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
