Please rad entire bio, Thank you. Jasper is very shy, we are doing our best to have him get better at handling him. We would like someone that has the time and experience to get him more confident. He loves other dogs, just jumps for joy to play with them. We would like to find him a home with at least another dog in the home, that will be a tremendous help. He has toes missing on one of his back paws, we were told that the mom bit them off at birth. He still has the pad and walk fine. Jasper could be a foster to adopt to the right family. Or just fostering would be ok. He is completely vetted. Also we would prefer a home with no small children. Teenagers would be ok. Please email if you are interested at helpapoochrescue@gmail.com

Story
Peppermint Bark is a spayed, cheerful girl with a sweet spirit and a happy outlook on life. Despite having a very difficult past—she was heartbreakingly left behind when her previous owners moved, with severely overgrown fur and mammary tumors—Peppermint Bark has remained loving, gentle, and full of joy. She is now receiving the care and love she deserves and is ready for a forever home of her own. She is potty trained and also comfortable using potty pads indoors, crate trained, listens well on a leash, and does well with other dogs. Peppermint Bark’s happiness is contagious—she expresses it with adorable “happy dances” on her back legs, big joyful stretches while lounging, playful air nips with clicking teeth, and a tail that spins like a little helicopter. Peppermint Bark enjoys food, relaxing on the couch (not sleeping—just quietly observing), being near her people without needing to be on top of them, and going for long outdoor walks when the weather is mild. She isn’t very interested in toys or playtime and prefers a calmer, more relaxed lifestyle. Her ideal home would be with people who enjoy companionship but also appreciate an independent dog who is content to explore, relax, and spend time looking out the window. She loves humans but is not a Velcro dog—just a happy, well-balanced companion. Because of her breed, Peppermint Bark will need a family committed to regular grooming to keep her comfortable and healthy. Story
Casper is a small, playful puppy with the softest heart. When he first arrived, the world felt very big and scary to him. He spent his first days shaking quietly in a corner, unsure if it was safe to be seen, touched, or loved. Eye contact felt like too much, and approaching him was out of the question.  Within just a few days, Casper began to peek out of his crate, cautiously exploring his new surroundings. Once he realized he was finally safe, his true personality bloomed. Casper loves affection. He soaks up pets, happily plays with toys, and gives endless kisses to anyone willing to receive them. Despite being a puppy, he has a surprisingly calm nature and is perfectly content curling up for nap-time after a little play. He’s the kind of pup who brings both joy and peace into a home. He loves to play with other dogs and would enjoy having a furry sibling. Casper is crate trained and doing well with potty training — he goes outside most of the time, but he’s still learning and will need a patient, understanding adopter as he continues to grow. He’s also just beginning his leash journey, so gentle guidance and encouragement will go a long way. Casper has already shown how resilient and loving he can be once he feels safe. Spike is a handsome maltipoo mix. He can be a little shy at first, it takes him a minute to trust someone and warm up. But once he does, you have best friend for life! He is a very happy cuddly dog. Spike has the most fun natural blonde Mohawk that just adds to his charm! DOB 5/8/24 and around 25 lbs. Spike prefers a home without cats and, honestly, would do best as the only furry companion. He can be a bit of an attention hog and doesn’t like to share his favorite human! He would also do best in a home with no kids or kids over 12, who will respect his personal space while he adjusts to a new environment.
