Spike is a handsome maltipoo mix. He can be a little shy at first, it takes him a minute to trust someone and warm up. But once he does, you have best friend for life! He is a very happy cuddly dog. Spike has the most fun natural blonde Mohawk that just adds to his charm! DOB 5/8/24 and around 25 lbs. Spike prefers a home without cats and, honestly, would do best as the only furry companion. He can be a bit of an attention hog and doesn’t like to share his favorite human! He would also do best in a home with no kids or kids over 12, who will respect his personal space while he adjusts to a new environment. Maybe a Unicorn family so to speak? I’ve been called “A terrible dog”. Unpredictable and just plain crazy. People just haven’t been able to understand my quirks. I’m nothing but misunderstood!! I do need some time to adjust as something in my past has left me very nervous. My human mom passed away and I was put into the system. I’m used to a quiet and peaceful home. My human foster sister is my most favorite person ever and her mom is pretty nice too. If you have patience and lots of love I’m your guy! Am I a bit of a challenge? Maybe!! Am I cute as cute can be? Definitely!!, Am I worth the effort? You bet I am!! I am an adorable and smart little boy. When I like you….I would do anything for you!! If I don’t, then I’m a bit of a tiny Jerk!! Investing your time and love into me will be so worth it!! I promise!! I am good with other animals. I get along with all sizes and ages of dogs.
