I'm little Bit! I'm estimated to be 7-8 years old. I am a female Maltese! I'm roughly 8lbs! I'm tiny and spunky! I can also carry a convo with you!  I am spayed and up to date on vaccines.  I come from a rough past, and would need someone who understands that and is willing to go at my pace. I am not house broken, but I will go outside if taken out. I sometimes piddle when I get picked up, I don't mean to, it just happens.  I live with other foster pals and cat siblings and I do great with them all.  I enjoy spending my time being playful, talkative and taking naps. I'm catching up on all the good stuff I missed out on in my old life. This new life is great.  I'm a pretty chill pup!  I am not a fan of harness or leashes, I get a little freaked out with them and try to hide. Im sure over time that might change but for now, I'm okay with just following and being carried! Makes me feel like a princess. Hello. I'm Mama's! I'm estimated to be 7-8years old. I am a female Maltese. I am currently not spayed! So that will need to be done in the future. I'm new to this home life. I came from a rough situation. I'm learning what a good loving home means. So far it's pretty cool. I get pets, treats, food, soft blankets and lots of praises. I enjoy it all. Im a bit shy however due to my past, so I would need someone to be understanding of that and go at my pace. I am not yet potty trained. I am learning! I do have a few accidents in home. But I do also go out when shown that potty is outside. The outside is fun too, I enjoy adventuring and hanging out with my friends and foster parents in the back yard. I run around and chase my friends. I enjoy spending time inside catching up on naps, pets and all those good treats! Sometimes I'll take a toy or two into my kennel and chew on it. Meet Galaxy (aka phoebe) a 6 year old Maltese. She is sporting her new summer hairdo along with her pretty pink onesie. Phoebe is a retired puppy mill breeder and is learning how to trust humans. She is doing great at housebreaking but will need patients and understanding. She prefers to lay in her open crate in a play yard but will come out and greet you. She’s a sweet little dog that will need somebody with patience and lots of love. She gets along well with dogs but prefers the calmer smaller dogs. Big excited dogs scare her a little bit. Running outside and laying in the sun is her favorite acivity. She would do better in a more quiet home with older children since she is tiny (only 8 lbs). We have introduced her to a harness and leash but she will need time and patients. She really does well following you outside in a fenced in yard. Galaxy will come with a certificate of health, UTD on vaccines and spayed. Meet Moe! He's a 3-year-old Maltese/Terrier mix who is looking for a new home due to very unfortunate circumstances. His previous owner has a terminal illness. Since Moe's world was recently turned upside down, he is afraid and timid at first but has warmed up tremendously after a good grooming and some treats. Moe is as sweet as can be, house-trained, walks great on a leash, and even knows some commands. He gets along well with other dogs but would also be happy as an only dog because he loves all the attention he can get. Moe has never been around children and lived in a quiet household. Say hello to beautiful Opal! This sweet girl is about 9 years old. She's a rescued puppy mill mama Bichon. Like so very many of these so-called breeder releases (i.e. no longer producing sellable puppies so no longer of any value to the business operators) she is extremely timid and unsure of life outside of a locked box. She does not trust humans - and I don't blame her one little bit. After many months in her foster home, she has made progress, but that progress is always guarded and often accompanied by a swift return to where she was before the progress (she's a one step forward, two steps back kind of gal). She watches my every move with curiosity/suspicion, lol. She likes to be near the me and the pack when I'm home but doesn't necessarily want to cuddle in with us. She's more of a "I'll be over here watching you, but you can reach over and pet me if you want," type of pup. She does get excited when I get home from work and will sometimes do zoomies in the yard with the big boys, but she doesn't want me bursting her fun bubble by trying to get too close. I have built trust with her to the point where she wants to be by me, wants me to pet her, lets me do anything I need to do with her (besides go for a walk), but she is usually still nervous during it all. Heartwarming are the times when she is truly relaxed and enjoying some love from me - those times are slowly building in frequency. Love and patience are paying off. She must have a fenced-in yard at her new home as a leash isn't an option for this sweetheart. She is going to need time and lots of patient, unconditional love and support to transition into a new life. ***REQUIREMENTS - canine companion, apartments not recommended***Meet Marilyn, a bright and curious ~20 lb Bichon Frise mix. Marilyn came from an unfortunate breeding situation where she was overbred and shows the signs of her years of neglect. Despite that, she's incredibly curious and wants to know everything about everything in her new foster environment. She's quickly learning that human touch can be pretty great and is almost ready to ask for attention when she wants it. She gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home and is looking for a forever home with at least one other canine companion. Because she's not used to being alone, she does have separation anxiety and will express her unhappiness through song - as a result, apartments are not recommended. She doesn't love being in a crate, but does ok in there while foster mom is gone. She's working hard on potty training and making a lot of progress.
