Hennessy has been through a lot—but he’s never stopped being gentle, loving, and full of hope. He and another senior dog, Luna, have spent their lives together as members of a small but loving pet family that also included a kitty named Mia. But when their owner lost her apartment, the little family was forced to live in a car. Now, although their owner has secured a new job and a place to live, sadly, the pets are not allowed to join her. She reached out to us, heartbroken, hoping someone would step forward to give her beloved companions the life they deserve. Hennessy adores people and has a soft spot for cats. Boba is loving, energetic and full of life. He came to our house because he was surrendered at my work place when he was only a month old after he had ingested fentanyl. His owners never came back for him and I could not allow this beautiful puppy to be alone or go to the shelter at such a young age. My husband and I were hoping he would build a bond with our 6 year old pug Tofu and our 5 year old cat Miso but with his strong energy that just doesn't seem possible. I work at a veterinary clinic and I work long 12 hour shifts and he comes with me to work and unfortunately has to stay in a kennel during my shifts since he doesn’t get along with our pug or cat at home. My husband and I really wanted to make him part of our family but after 5 months of trying, we strongly believe Boba deserves a single pet home and owners who may have more free time than what my husband and I can offer. We truly love our boy Boba but we unfortunately can’t keep him and do not have the time to train him atm

This spunky little boy loves to play with stuffed toys and enjoys a nice walk - he's a perfect gentleman on leash! He has a moderate amount of energy. He plays hard but also naps hard. Did we mention that Buddy is a champion cuddler? This sweet guy bonds with his person quickly and deeply. He loves being on your lap or in your arms but is also perfectly content curled up in a dog bed with or without other pups. Buddy has some arthritis in his back, so he prefers gentle handling, and would love to be in a home with a single adult. Despite his arthritis, Buddy loves exploring the world on walks and is happiest sniffing to his heart's content! He does great around other dogs but because of his arthritis, Buddy is looking for a home with dog friends who can also be gentle with him and not roughhouse. Buddy returned to us after one of his guardians health began to decline.
