Each pup is just barely over 3 pounds, and they’re expected to stay nice and small. What they lack in size, they more than make up for in personality, affection, and charm.       These puppies have been raised in foster care with lots of love and plenty of time with kids, and it shows. All three absolutely adore people and want nothing more than to be near you — being held, petted, cuddled, and doted on. They are playful, sweet, quiet little companions who are far more motivated by affection than food. They eat lightly, sleep soundly, and are surprisingly polite for babies, doing their best to keep their sleeping area clean and letting you know (with fidgeting or gentle noises) when it’s time to potty. Bedtime is around 8 pm, and they sleep quietly through the night. They are currently in a serious puppy “need-to-chew” phase, but they are gentle, non-bitey, and eager to please.       Each puppy brings their own Hanukkah-inspired sparkle:       Gelt: The golden coin of the bunch — shiny, smart, and full of zest for life. He’s the natural leader, spunky and confident. Gelt is also the easiest to potty train and the quickest to figure things out, making him a great match for someone who enjoys an engaged, energetic puppy who’s always ready to learn and lead the celebration.       Latke: Warm, comforting, and impossible to resist — just like his namesake. He’s the most mellow of the three and the ultimate cuddle bug. Latke is happiest curled up in your lap, soaking in affection, though he still enjoys playful moments with his brothers. Sweet, gentle, and loving, he’s perfect for someone dreaming of a tiny dog who wants to be a constant, cozy companion.       Dreidel: The bold one — strong, smart, and absolutely convinced he’s in charge of the holiday festivities. He’s the strongest of the trio and happily taking command when playtime starts. He’s also very bright and affectionate, and his confident personality will shine with a little guidance and patience.       All three puppies are quiet overall, with only a small bark if they think you might be leaving without them. They do wonderfully with kids, need relatively little space due to their tiny size, and thrive on love, attention, and companionship.       These Hanukkah puppies truly are little miracles — sweet, clean, affectionate, and eager to please. If you’re looking for a small dog with a big heart to light up your home, Gelt, Latke, or Dreidel may be the perfect match.January 6, 2026, 6:20 pm

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $700 Meet Margarita!   Margarita is a 10–11 week old Min Pin mix puppy who was rescued from the shelter at just 7 weeks of age along with her sister Paloma. Margarita has very much established herself as the bold, curious “life of the party” in the pair. If Paloma is the garnish, Margarita is definitely the main pour.   Margarita starts her day around 7:00 a.m. when she and her sister wake up ready to go. Mornings are all about action: squeaky toys, ribbons, hallway zoomies, and enthusiastic sister-chasing for a couple of hours before she finally pauses for breakfast (a mix of wet food and kibble). After fueling up, Margarita settles down for a few hours of napping in her x-pen with Paloma. Lunch comes around noon, followed by several more hours of play outside the pen, more exploring, and more wrestling. She naps again in the afternoon, eats dinner at 5:00 p.m., then launches into another round of play before winding down with about an hour of cuddling. She’s tucked back into her x-pen and asleep by 8:30 p.m., having poured every last ounce of puppy energy into her day.   Personality-wise, Margarita is curious, courageous, and incredibly smart. From the moment she arrived, she showed herself to be a confident explorer, and that confidence has only grown. She is highly food motivated and will happily solve puzzles, search out hidden snacks, and work through enrichment toys faster than you’d expect from such a young puppy. Margarita is often the first one out of the pen to investigate a new sound or situation, making direct eye contact with her foster human, the resident dog, or even the cat as if to say, “What’s happening, and how can I be involved?” She has a ton of energy and loves chasing her sister— and occasionally her foster human— around the house.   Margarita lives with a 20 lb resident dog and is very curious about her. She’s still learning manners and currently expresses her enthusiasm by chasing and occasionally barking at the dog, 'play with me! play with me!' She’s also curious about the resident cat and will chase the cat in playful investigation mode. Everything Margarita does is driven by curiosity and excitement, and she’s learning quickly with guidance and consistency.   She is an extremely playful puppy with classic Min Pin confidence and spunk. Margarita loves small squeaky toys and ribbons, enjoys wrestling with her sister, and thrives on interactive play. She’s slightly bigger than Paloma, weighing in at about 6 pounds, and uses that extra size to her advantage during playtime. She’s absorbing new skills quickly and shows great potential for training thanks to her intelligence and food motivation. And once playtime is over, Marg is ready to turn into a precious little cuddle bug, soaking up all the love she can.   Margarita is too young for walks and hasn’t started leash training yet. She is currently x-pen trained and is working on potty pad training. Like most puppies, she is teething and can be a bit mouthy first thing in the morning, but she redirects easily to appropriate toys.   The ideal home for Margarita is one with someone who has the time, patience, and sense of humor to guide her through puppyhood. She is eager to learn, loves engagement, and will thrive with consistent training, enrichment, and plenty of outlets for her energy and curiosity.   What really sets Margarita apart is her fearless curiosity and growing confidence. Add in her expressive face, sharp mind, and love of food puzzles, and you have a puppy who is both entertaining and incredibly endearing.   Margarita is a sweet pea with a big personality— shaken, not stirred— and she’s ready to bring a little extra zest, joy, and puppy energy into her future home.January 12, 2026, 3:09 pm

Our adoption fees vary. While the two share the same start in life, Paloma has developed a personality all her own— soft, thoughtful, and quietly affectionate. If Margarita is the bold splash of lime, Paloma is the smooth, calming sip you savor.   Paloma starts her mornings around 7:00 a.m., waking up with her sister and easing into the day with playtime. She enjoys squeaky toys, ribbons, and running the hallway, often chasing her sister for a couple of hours before settling in for breakfast, which consists of wet food and kibble. After breakfast, Paloma happily naps for a few hours in her x-pen with Margarita. Lunch comes around noon, followed by more playtime outside the pen, then another long afternoon nap. Dinner is at 5:00 p.m., followed by a few more hours of play, then her favorite part of the day: an hour of cuddling. She’s back in her x-pen and asleep by 8:30 p.m., content and worn out from a well-balanced puppy day.   From the beginning, Paloma has been a calm and observant little puppy. In those first days, she carefully watched her sister dive into new situations before deciding whether to follow— and that thoughtful approach remains part of her charm. She is calm, gentle, and very snuggly, enjoying a perfect balance of play and cuddle time. Paloma is quiet and rarely barks, still discovering her voice. She’s food motivated but dainty about it, preferring smaller meals and taking her time.   Paloma lives with a resident 20 lb dog and is curious about her, occasionally chasing her as she learns appropriate puppy manners. She also shows curiosity toward the resident cat and will chase out of interest rather than intensity. At just 5 pounds, Paloma is a petite pup with a cautious but playful spirit, happy to engage but never reckless.   She is both playful and thoughtful— happy to join in games but equally content to hang back, observe, and then jump in when she feels comfortable. She hasn’t gone on walks yet due to her age.   Paloma is x-pen trained, and those skills would likely transfer well to a crate in her future home. Like all puppies her age, she is teething, but she redirects easily when given an appropriate toy. She rarely barks and is still gaining confidence in using her voice.   Paloma would thrive in a home with someone who has the time and patience to guide her through puppyhood and help her continue building confidence. She’s a gentle soul who will flourish with consistent routines, reassurance, and plenty of affection.   What truly sets Paloma apart is her petite size, her shy and cuddly nature, and her incredible sweetness. Recently, her left ear decided to stand up all on its own— and it has no intention of going back down. It gives her an extra dose of expressiveness and charm that perfectly matches her personality.   One of her foster family’s favorite things about Paloma is that while she may hesitate behind her sister when it’s time to run out of the pen, she is always the first to leap straight into your lap once she’s free. Paloma is a tender, loving puppy with a gentle heart—and she’s ready to find a home where she can curl up, feel safe, and be adored.January 12, 2026, 3:09 pm

Story
Hennessy is a tender-hearted senior Terrier/Chihuahua mix with a gentle spirit and soulfulbeyes. He’s seeking a second chance after a stretch of heartbreaking challenges. Hennessy has been through a lot—but he’s never stopped being gentle, loving, and full of hope. He and another senior dog, Luna, have spent their lives together as members of a small but loving pet family that also included a kitty named Mia. But when their owner lost her apartment, the little family was forced to live in a car. Now, although their owner has secured a new job and a place to live, sadly, the pets are not allowed to join her. She reached out to us, heartbroken, hoping someone would step forward to give her beloved companions the life they deserve. Hennessy adores people and has a soft spot for cats. Now he is looking for a home full of love, cozy spots, and kind people. Most of all, he just wants to be someone’s beloved boy again. Can you give Hennessy the peaceful retirement he deserves?
