Meet Billy! Sweet Billy has had a rough time of it. He was seen wandering alone for some time and was finally trapped and transferred into our care. He was severely matted and underweight and on top of it all we found a bullet in one of his front paws. Billy had surgery to remove the bullet, and was shaved under sedation too. He is feeling much better now. Clearly Billy has not had a great start in life. He is a sweet boy despite all of that but is still learning a lot. He is getting more confident on a leash, which is a new skill for him. He likes other dogs just fine and lives in a foster home with other dogs. Sometimes he needs a little help with the social graces but all of this is fairly easily managed. Billy loves people and would like to be near them all the time. He can struggle with being left alone and does not enjoy being crated. This needs some work. His coat is growing back nicely and his pretty curls are coming back. He's such a good boy and he deserves a life full of love after having had such a rough beginning. Billy is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Youngtu | 7 years old | Poodle Name: Youngtu Age: 7 years Sex: Spayed female Breed: Poodle Coat: Beige Weight: 3.2 kg Height: 30 cm (shoulder height) Rescue Story Youngtu was adopted as a puppy, but due to her adopter’s life circumstances—including the birth of a child and an overseas work assignment—she was unfortunately surrendered and returned to rescue. She has now been living in a foster home for about one month, where she has been adjusting well and enjoying the stability of home life again. ‍ Human Socialization Youngtu is very affectionate and people-oriented. She approaches both familiar and unfamiliar people happily, rubs against them, and enjoys being touched. She tends to seek a lot of human attention and companionship. She has not had direct experience with children under 13. Youngtu is comfortable being picked up with an arm under her belly and will often show her belly even to people she has just met—an indication of her friendly and trusting nature. Dog Socialization Youngtu will approach unfamiliar dogs to greet them but generally does not engage in play. She tends to feel intimidated by dogs larger than herself. If another dog provokes her, she may react defensively, so careful introductions are important, especially with new or unfamiliar dogs. When a new dog enters a space she was already occupying, she may attempt to assert herself by nipping toward the other dog’s rear or rushing toward them in a confrontational way. Proper management and guidance are recommended in multi-dog settings. Cats On walks, Youngtu may look at cats with curiosity, but she follows her handler well and redirects easily when guided. Energy Level Youngtu has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities and walks, but settles calmly and rests quietly afterward. ‍ Walks Youngtu is generally does not pull. She follows her handler well. When encountering other dogs on walks, she may sometimes pass calmly, but at other times may initiate or respond to tension—especially if the other dog growls. While injuries have not occurred, brief scuffles can happen, so continued leash manners training and attentive handling are recommended. Additional Notes • No food guarding toward people • May growl if another dog approaches while she is eating (separate feeding works well) • Calm and well-mannered in a crate • Currently potty trained for both indoor and outdoor elimination Youngtu is a loving, human-focused companion who would thrive in a home that can provide guidance, structure, and thoughtful dog introductions. Wilson is needing extra time to decompress and remember how good humans can be, and when he gets there, he will be your best friend forever! Wilsons foster brother is showing him the ropes, and Wilson just found his voice - we heard him bark for the first time and that is a good sign! Wilson is just about 5 years young and a little taller than your standard mini, but came to us only weighing about 12-13 lbs. He is still under knee height and a great size to become your best walking or hiking buddy - Wilson loves a walk! Wilson came to us as a breeder release from a puppy mill in the Midwest where he was a stud and lived in a small cage his entire life. He is beginning to learn about the good life now with his fosters and there will be no going back for this newly sophisticated boy! Wilson has already seen the veterinarian, was brought up to date on his vaccines, parasite treatment and had a full health exam. He is healthy and ready to go home! Wilson has been neutered and received a complete dental as a part of his adoption donation.

Mischief is a happy 5 year old cockapoo! He has a very sweet demeanor and gets along with other dogs and kids! We have decided to rehome Mischief as he struggles not to chew our toddlers toys and will take food out of his hands when he walks around. We are expecting another baby this spring and think it will just be too much for our family. Mischief is potty trained and loves to be pet and play fetch.
