Lily, a 2 1/2 year old, 36 lb house and crate trained Pug/Pit mix (best guess!), is a sweet and snuggly lover girl who wants in on all the fun family action! She's great with all people, including kids, is a big fan of walks and playing with tennis balls, rides nicely in the car, enjoys naps cuddled up to her people, sleeps quietly through the night, knows several commands, and gets along very well with other dogs. She gives little nibbles when she wants to play, so little kids need to understand it's all in good fun. We don't know about cats. Hi, I’m Miley and I’m ready to meet you. I’m a pretty Pug mix about 5 months old, 21 lbs and I used to belong to a homeless man. We roamed around San Antonio Texas and lived in a tent on the outskirts of town and one day my foster mom asked if she could buy me and he agreed! Now I’m livin’ the dream with indoor living, air conditioning, cozy dog beds, doggy toys, and doggy friends, I’m having a blast, except for the trip to the vet to get spayed, LOL. I am a happy and friendly girl with a medium energy level, always wagging and dreaming up something fun to do… like playtime, wrestling with my friends, chasing dog toys, or taking a nap in your lap, these are some of my favorite things. I’m very affectionate and love my people and I love to be near you. I also love going for walks and taking rides in the car, and I’m always up for any new adventure. My foster mom says I’m very sweet and a very good girl and doing great with housebreaking lessons. I’ve never been kept in a crate so I just hang out with the other dogs while my foster mom is away. We all pile into her bed at night and that's where I sleep, snuggled up beside her. My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Chicklet is a 2-4-year-old, 22-pound female pug mix from Texas! She is a loving, happy and curious pup. She has adjusted very well during her time in Brooklyn. Chicklet enjoys snuggling, going on long walks, and taking naps. Chicklet is working on her obedience training and learning “Sit”. During her time with her foster family, she sems to be house trained and used to the company of other humans and dogs. Chicklet is great on a leash and is very easy to walk around the city. She’s fine with cars, people and dogs and will try to smell everything she can lay her cute little nose on. Her forever family will need to continue working with Chicklet to reinforce and advance the progress she’s been making in her training. Chicklet has done well in her crate during the night and has been hanging around the apartment during the day. She does experience a little bit of separation anxiety at night but ends up falling asleep pretty quickly. She has only been left alone for very short periods of time during the day but did great each time. She loves to be cozy with her foster family and can often be found with her favorite avocado toast toy. Chicklet is looking for a loving family. She appreciates both downtime and active moments. She would be happy either with another dog or just with humans. She hasn’t been exposed to cats yet, but she seems like she does fine around anything- her only scare so far has been a roomba. Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella. Neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Chicklet tested positive for ehrlichia and was treated with 21 days of doxycycline.
