Meet Brandan.... OMG... This little guy is the cutest pup ever... Brandan and some siblings were surrendered to the rescue from a puppy mill in Wisconsin. We were told they were sold to pet store in Florida. With the hurricane heading that way, most stores canceled all pups. When this happens, the mills have no other placement for them. They can call other stores in different areas, but that doesn't always yield placement. We were called in to take them in. Brandan is the cutest pup ever... He will put a smile on anyone's face. Brandan is a 11 week old male Puggle. He is 3/4 Pug and only 1/4 beagle. I don't see any beagle in him. Brandan is a petite guy. We estimate his full growth weight to be around 10ish pounds. Brandan is a full shedding pup. We do look for families with experience when adopting breeds with possible breathing limits. Pugs are know to snort, and breathe heavy as their face is pushed in. Occasionally nasal surgery may be required so breathing airways can be enlarged. Pugs also tend to over heat easily when outside or when they are over active with exercise. Brandan is social, confident, super playful and lots of fun... This guy will definitely complete a family. Using a wee wee pad and the outdoors for potty training. Hi, I’m Miley and I’m ready to meet you. I’m a pretty Pug mix about 5 months old, 21 lbs and I used to belong to a homeless man. We roamed around San Antonio Texas and lived in a tent on the outskirts of town and one day my foster mom asked if she could buy me and he agreed! Now I’m livin’ the dream with indoor living, air conditioning, cozy dog beds, doggy toys, and doggy friends, I’m having a blast, except for the trip to the vet to get spayed, LOL. I am a happy and friendly girl with a medium energy level, always wagging and dreaming up something fun to do… like playtime, wrestling with my friends, chasing dog toys, or taking a nap in your lap, these are some of my favorite things. I’m very affectionate and love my people and I love to be near you. I also love going for walks and taking rides in the car, and I’m always up for any new adventure. My foster mom says I’m very sweet and a very good girl and doing great with housebreaking lessons. I’ve never been kept in a crate so I just hang out with the other dogs while my foster mom is away. We all pile into her bed at night and that's where I sleep, snuggled up beside her. My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Midge is the most snaggle-toothed pup we've ever met! And out of her little mouth hangs the longest tongue we've ever seen! As a result, this girl is laughable and lovable at the same time! Miss Midge is about 9 years old and weighs 17 pounds. Midge is a laid-back girl who loves being with people. She's so easygoing that she'll even let you dress her up if you find that fun. During the day, she will follow you around to see what you're up to and, if possible, curl up on a bed at your feet to keep you company. Midge is well behaved in the car and she really loves her daily walks through the neighborhood. Midge currently lives with 2 other dogs in her foster home and has no problem keeping up with them even though they are half her age! Midge listens well and, being food driven, is easily trained. She's smart, too - she knows to expect a treat when she comes inside from doing her business in the yard! Midge is housetrained, however, she may need a puppy pad if left alone for 8 hours. When she is left home alone, she has the freedom to roam the place – she does not like being crated and doesn’t need to be. Midge sleeps on her own through the night without incident but would love to sleep in the same room as her people if possible. She'll happily curl up on her own bed on the floor next to yours if you'll let her. Midge has fistulas (holes) in the roof of her mouth and (weird as it sounds) on a rare occasion may get food stuck in her nose. She usually just sneezes the food out so you don’t have to do anything about it. Midge came into rescue with horrible teeth - she had a number of teeth removed but she is still the snaggle-toothed girl we love! Midge currently requires a tiny sprinkle of medicinal powder on her food to ensure her pancreas functions properly. She eats a Blue Buffalo kibble for seniors which helps keep her pancreatitis in check. But this gal loves her food & gobbles it right down, making sure she finds every single kibble that might escape her bowl! Although Midge gets along with dogs, she might bark when she encounters new-to-her dogs on a walk. She sounds like a goat when she barks – it is actually quite cute!
