As to kids, it’s best if I’m in a home with older kids ages 14 yrs+ because I’m sensitive to folks touching me and getting in my space so NO YOUNG CHILDREN. I need a hooman(s) who is experienced in handling dogs that can be grumpy and snarky at times. I was never properly socialized with the outside world at a young age.. just kept inside most of the time and never met anyone or any other animals so I’m a bit “GUARDED” with folks I don’t know. Let’s just say I’m not immediately warm and fuzzy with everyone. A QUIET home in the country and not the busy city would be best for me. I need someone who will be PATIENT and COMPASSIONATE but someone that is CONFIDENT and FORTHRIGHT that will not be afraid to handle me when I get snarky. Once I know you, I’m your BFF but can get protective and territorial of you so I also need someone that will NOT CODDLE me but will teach me that certain behaviors are not acceptable. As they say.. This sweet dog needs to be adopted by a family/person who currently have another dog - she loves the company of other animals. Please be aware of this when inquiring. We get a lot of inquiries but we are still looking for the best fit for her - thank you! Bella was used for breeding, but a bad c-section and emergency spay saved her, which meant after weaning her puppies, she was no longer useful for the breeder. The day the puppies weaned, Bella made her rescue debut and became part of the rescuefairy squad!!! On to bigger and better things...and never again being used for breeding this little 14lbs gem of a Boston Terrier, is ready for her forever home. She is perfect with any human or dog she meets, she love to cuddle!!!! She is affectionate, housebroken, does not need a crate and will thrive in a home with other dogs, because she is obsessed with her foster sibs. We will be giving priority to homes with other pets. She is not a fan of the city or the cold weather, but she has adapted very well and lives to please you and LOVE YOU.
