Story
Meet Wally, a 3-year-old, 27 lb Pug with a big heart and an even bigger personality! Originally from Dallas, Wally is affectionately known by many names, including "Wally the One-Eyed Pug," "One-Eyed Wally," and "Wall Fury." Despite his journey to Manhattan, Wally has adjusted beautifully and quickly embraced his new surroundings.
Wally’s zest for life is infectious. He adores treats, kisses, and playtime with other pups. Currently, Wally is learning commands like “sit” and working on his obedience training. Although he can get a bit distracted, his eagerness to please shines through in every lesson. He's also proven to be quite the gentleman when it comes to house training, patiently waiting for his family to take him out, even overnight.
This energetic and loving Pug is comfortable on a leash, though he's working on his tendency to pull. He definitely prefers a harness over a collar. Wally is also happy in his crate and does well when left home alone. However, this curious little guy is always up for meeting new people and dogs, often spinning in circles to get your attention.
Wally is searching for a medium active family that enjoys both downtime and active moments. Whether he’s the solo star of the household or sharing his space with a fellow canine companion, Wally will thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of attention. His ideal family will be one with children or a lot of spare time, ready to embrace his unique character, delightful quirks, and boundless energy.
If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and spirited companion, Wally might just be your perfect match!
