Howdy folks, my name is Charley, and I was one of 13 dogs and puppies living in a San Antonio Texas home when our owner passed away. Her grown daughter was surprised to find us all and reached out to 4 Little Paws Rescue for help, and they did! We all went to various foster homes, all vaccinated, all microchipped, the adults spayed/neutered, and now most of us are ready to find forever families! I am a handsome Pug/Terrier/Chihuahua mix, about 2 years old, weigh 18 lbs and I’m a people dog. I get along with other dogs and am more alpha with my dog friends, but I excel at being with people. I am very kind towards toddlers and people in general and make an excellent couch buddy. I enjoy being by someone's side but I’m also independent and able to be on my own when the family leaves for work. I love going for walks, I only bark to alert, and I’m good in a kennel, whining only when I need to get out to potty. My foster mom says I’m sweet and friendly, shy with strangers, and love treats and playing with a ball. My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Inquire about me today and bring me home! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD DOG ALERT!! Howdy folks, my name is Highland and I am a very chill Boxer/Pug mix about 3 years old, only 27 lbs, and a sweet, sweet boy. I get along great with everyone, a little shy with new people at first, but I’m great with kids, and make friends easily with other dogs and kitty cats. I was found in Von Ormy Texas, hanging out at a gas station where I was dumped. A few days later a very nice lady picked me up and now I am vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and ready to find a forever home! I love the outdoors and sunbathing on a pretty day. I’m not big into playing but will join in with the other foster dogs for about 5 or 10 minutes of fun, but I’m more of a kicked-back sort of dude who would rather observe or follow my foster mom around while she works. I think barking is silly so I don't do it. I’m well-behaved and housebroken, and I taught myself how to use a doggy door by watching the other dogs. I love walks and car rides and chewing on bully sticks. My foster mom says I stand out in the crowd of other foster dogs, forever dog material, and a total Keeper! Bruno is a beauty!!! But what makes him so special is that he is also so loving and playful. He was found malnourished and scared roaming around a busy street, so a concerned tourist brought him to the shelter, SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, where he was immediately given care and love. He must have been beaten by men, because he was scared of men at the beginning. Fortunately, with the love and affection of caregivers at the shelter, Bruno overcame his trauma. He is a very happy boy who loves giving and receiving love and affection. He loves going for walks with volunteers and playing with other dogs. He gets along well with female dogs, but he can be dominant with male dogs. Bruno is reserved when meeting new people, but with a calm and gentle approach, he quickly warms up and becomes playful mush. He has a chance to come to New York now and he is available for direct adoption or foster to adopt. He is 2 years old, crate trained, up to date on all vaccinations, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for heart worm, currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention and dewormed.
