Layla can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, you’ll quickly see her true personality shine. She does love all people, especially the ones that want a lap dog once she's done playing for the day. When she feels safe, her sweet, submissive nature blossoms, making her an easy girl to love. She’s not a barker, so she would be okay for apartment/condo living, but she gets distracted by city activity and might do better in a quieter area. Layla's favorite things are belly rubs and other dogs! She enjoys canine companionship and would likely thrive in a home with a friendly doggy buddy to help her continue building confidence. She really loves playing with her foster siblings, and she also enjoys watching the sights and sounds in her foster's garden. Her prey drive is pretty low; she watches the birds, bunnies, and squirrels, so she potentially could work with other animals in the home as well. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs.
