Story
Rue is approximately 10 months old and fully grown at 18lbs. This sweet girl is playful, smart, and 100% a clown. Learning new things is what she excels at! She loves her walks and boy does she also like to run around, as in chase me if you can to the fastest of dogs :) She gets along with dogs of all sizes, cats and of course humans. Kids unknown. She’s not a barker, social yet happily independent. Crate trained. Rue needs an active family. She will be a tripping hazard for the elderly and folks with mobility challenges. At some point right after she was born, Rue experienced some kind of trauma that manifests in an abnormal gate which is not noticeable unless you’re looking for it. We do not believe she is need o further assessment but potential adopters should discuss Rue with their veterinary professional. Story
Hi there! I'm Valentine!  I'm a 6-year-old white Rat Terrier, weighing in at about 36 pounds, though between us, I could probably stand to lose a few of those extra snack pounds  (I'm working on my fitness journey!) I'm a friendly little guy who gets along great with people and other dogs.  Whether it's cuddle time on the couch or hanging out with new furry friends, I'm happy to be part of the action. Sadly, my previous owner left another dog and me behind, but I'm not letting that get me down.  I'm heading to a foster home now, where I'll be safe and cared for, while I wait for my fur-ever family.  The good news? I'm neutered and fully up to date on all my vaccines.  So I'm healthy, ready, and prepared for my next chapter.  All I need is a loving home where I can share my sweet personality, loyal heart, and maybe some walks around the neighborhood to help me work on my beach bod for the summer.  Can't wait to meet you!  ##2660074##

Story
Meet Mars, a 3-year-old bundle of cosmic energy who is ready to orbit around his new forever family! Weighing in at just 13 lbs., this pint-sized explorer proves that the best things really do come in small, high-speed packages.A classic “type B” short rattie, Mars has an “off switch” for down time when he naps on the sofa or in a crate. He is still learning about the world, which includes potty training. Currently he does well on a schedule but still needs patience and consistency. Mars loves toys, but he also loves a recently worn shoe and might run off with it to add to his toy pile. He has mastered “sit” and would love to learn more with plenty of treats.&#226&#128&#139Because Mars has so much spirit, he’d thrive in a home that can keep up with his active lifestyle, take him on adventures, and indulge his youthful curiosity. Even though he likes to be the center of attention, he would be happy with another small canine sibling. He is also fine with kids that would enjoy his silly antics.  &#226&#128&#139&#226&#128&#139Mars is the perfect blend of 'go-go-go' and 'love-love-love.' His personality can be summed up in three words:&#226&#128&#139Energetic: Whether it's a morning zoomie session or a brisk walk around the block, Mars has a zest for life that is truly infectious.&#226&#128&#139Playful: He never met a ball or toy he didn't like! Mars is always up for a game of fetch or a wrestling match with his favorite plushies.&#226&#128&#139Snuggly: Once the sun sets and the energy levels dip, Mars transforms into a world-class lap warmer. He is a total 'velcro dog' who wants nothing more than to tuck his head under your chin and snooze. To see more pictures of this cutie, visit https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/mars  If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. Story
We will never know Raya’s past, but she came to us from the shelter as a stray with urine stains on her fur and recently healed scars on her head and side. Raya is believed to be around 4 years-old and is probably a mix of rat terrier and chihuahua, now at a good weight of 9.5 lbs.! She had her spay and a small benign mass removed from her left armpit shortly after arriving, and saw specialists to address extreme pain during bowel movements. Finally, in November 2025, she had double knee surgery to correct her painful injuries. Although Raya has healed well she will probably remain a little lame on her right rear leg but that doesn’t stop her at all! She is back to going up and down stairs, can now get up on the sofa by herself, and is even dancing for her breakfast! Although she has mostly done well with the other resident dogs, she has displayed signs of resource-guarding with her crate. These behaviors might be related to the physical scars she has and her experience with other dogs prior to the shelter, so she would do best in a home with no children or dogs. Although she can be a bit barky at people and dogs when out walking, she is very treat-motivated and can easily be redirected. When introduced to the resident cat, Raya did not seem interested. Even though Raya does not ask to go out, she is reliably house-trained on a schedule. Raya is cute as a button, recovered from knee surgery, and is ready to start looking for her forever home. Considering Raya’s past, she would do best in a home where she would get all the attention and not have to share her human(s). You can see more of Raya in her online photo album at https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/raya Because of her past injuries and recent surgery, we are looking for a local adopter to be able to meet her and learn more about her! Story
Tina is a lovely little dog that found her way into our household by way of a roadside rescue. We found her running along a busy intersection and caught her, expecting to find her family in a day or two. After a couple of weeks of posting signs around the neighborhood and posting online, we had no luck in finding the family and, as it turns out, she was not house trained, leash trained or spayed. It seems that she was a stray and we were now her fosters. She was easy enough to keep around and got along with our other two dogs really well so she made herself home at home for a few months. During this time we house trained her, got her shots up-to-date, and recently had her spayed. Shes a lot of fun. Plays with our dogs and loves kids. She would be a great addition to any family. The adoption fee is flexible, a pay what you can fee. We are just looking to share some of the costs that we put into getting her ready for adoption, especially the spay surgery and vaccines.
