Though he came in to the shelter very timid, with encouragement and tasty treats he's come so far, and we think he'd make a terrific addition to an active, loving family. Raja is a two-year-old Rottweiler that was found as a stray. Her favorite thing to do is be inside with her people and be pet! She is a Velcro dog. She loves to be on the couch and likes to play with stuffed toys. She loves treats and is very gentle when taking them.  She knows sit, down, and leave it. She’s getting better at stay. Raja is learning to relax outside. She doesn’t like to be outside alone, especially at night, but is improving with the help of her doggie foster brother. She is friendly with strangers, loves kids, and is good with other dogs, but is not cat friendly.  She’s also learning not to pull on leash. We currently use a prong collar and that works well. She is calm and clean in the house. She does well in the car and is crate trained. Sometimes she whines and scratches in the crate for the first few minutes, but settles down quickly. Her ideal home would have another dog to play with, a backyard with a 6’ fence, and kids. She loves to go for daily walks. Raja is truly a sweetheart and a very good girl.  ##2237247##

Airabella's smile lights up a room. She is a sweet and loving girl who came to us from the Contra Costa Animal Shelter in Martinez. She loves all people, most dogs, and treats. She loves your attention and will give whole body wiggles for love. She housebroken, knows basic obedience, is food motivated, is learning basic obedience, and lives wonderfully with her foster sibling.  ##2190933##

MIA | Rottweiller | 8 Years-Old | Female | Approx. 100lbs MIA just arrived at Lily's Sanctuary and in the short time we have spent with her she has shown she is incredibly sweet with everyone she has met. She was previously tested with other large dogs and did very good with them. Mia has learned to play ball with herself which is adorable to watch . Since she is so new to Lily's Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary we are still learning more about her personality and will gain more info from her foster home she will be going to.

Bruno is a sweet dog, our schedule just does not permit us to spend the amount of time he needs. He is super loving, cheerful and loves to play. He is good with other dogs. We do have a cat, they are not best friends but they do good around each other. He was born January 2023. His mom and dad are both Dobermans. He is house trained as well. We want him to have a good home and he deserves that. Please do not inquire if you can not provide the love that he needs.. he really is a sweetheart. I am including a rehoming fee just to make sure you are willing to care for him.
