Story
Get ready for some bear-sized love and mischief with Bear Hug, the canine cuddle machine! This friendly furball is a master of off-leash adventures and has a heart full of affection for other dogs. His playstyle is all about rough and tumble fun, though some pups might not be fans of his exuberant greetings. But fear not, Bear Hug just wants to spread the love! With his colossal size, he earned his name by giving bear-like hugs, but he could use a little help to keep those paws on the ground. A foster or someone with a large yard would be perfect for this big-hearted goofball. When it comes to toys, Bear Hug is absolutely smitten! Whether it's a squeaky toy, a tennis ball, or a stuffed animal, he'll happily entertain himself for hours. In fact, if he doesn't have a toy in his kennel, you might hear him playing his food bowl like a jazz drum set, creating a delightful symphony of mealtime rhythm. Bear Hug's playful nature extends to everything he encounters, turning even the simplest things into joyful moments. His enthusiasm for life is contagious, and he'll make sure you're always smiling and laughing in his company. While Bear Hug's excitement can be overwhelming at times, his playful nature and joyful spirit are infectious, bringing smiles to everyone he encounters. Although he may need some training to fine-tune his manners, his eagerness to please makes him a prime candidate for learning. Bear Hug's sheer size may be intimidating, but beneath his huggable exterior lies a gentle soul craving guidance and structure. So, if you're ready to embark on a grand adventure with a lovable giant who can transform anything into a playful moment, adopt Bear Hug today and let the hugs, laughter, and spontaneous drumming begin!

Story
Patrick can be a little reserved at first. He’s not that familiar with harnesses and leashes yet, but he really likes human attention. He just takes a minute to warm up to it. Once he gets to know you, Patrick gets excited for affection, and will do the cutest little tucked wiggly-butt dance. He’s a loving guy who really wants to interact and be with you. He appears to be housetrained and will make a great family pet.

Story
Are you looking for your very own little bear, aka rottweiler? Then Zelda might be your girl.. This mature lady is about four years old and weighs in at 65 pounds of pure love. Zelda is true to the breed and as loyal as they come. She is so affectionate with her people, eager to please and incredibly food motivated. She walks fantastic on leash and is crate trained. Zelda loves the water and will gladly lounge under the sprinklers, and baths are a breeze! Zelda is a low - to medium energy gal who is up for a walk or a few zoomies in the yard, but will also gladly lounge at home all day. She's a mellow girl! Zelda could be fine living with a male dog. Zelda came to us as an insecure girl who takes time initially to warm up to new people and appreciates a slower approach. But once you are her friend, you are her friend for life... If you are interested in meeting Zelda, please fill out an application at our website: www.gobeyondrescue.org/adopt Our adoption fee is $450 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping and up to date vaccines. We adopt within 200 miles of San Francisco.

Story
My name is Pablo and I am 2 years old. I am a good boy! I was saved from the shelter by Martina Animal Rescue and am currently in boarding waiting for a foster or adopter. I am so excited when I get to be outside and I dont pull on the leash when you're walking me! I also do very well in the car. 🚙 I am not reactive to other dogs I have met and I payed no attention to the shelter cat, so with proper intros I would likely do well with a 4 legged sibling. 🐕 I do have a medical condition which can be repaired. It's called tracheal paralysis which means my trachea is narrow. If I over exerted I would pant to cool myself down and my throat could close up. So it is best to not overly exert and to avoid being outside on very warm days until I'm fixed. 🏥 The good news is because the prognosis for this condition is very good, there is a program where you can apply for the funds and our rescue can help you connect with them or help raise the money💰 Lastly, I LOVE people and being with my human and I love just being close to you. ❤️ I am hoping for a family of my very own who is willing to help me make a full recovery so I can be the best boy I was meant to be. In return, I will love you unconditionally and be your best friend always by your side. If you’d like to meet me please contact Martina Animal Rescue at martinaanimalrescue@yahoo.com or text Laura at 916-996-5777. I'm located in Walnut Creek, CA. Application, home check and adoption fee required. Below is a link to our fillable adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/203461111050132 Love, Pablo
