I just know...I love hanging out with people I trust AND KNOW. But I'm fearful of strangers and that fear presents as jumping and barking at strangers, so it takes time to get to know me. But once we're friends, I'll love you forever and be the most loyal companion. I love playing with other dogs, even ones that are smaller than me, because, let's face it, most dogs are smaller than me! So I would love to play with another doggo pal! Due to my extra large size, I would do best in an adult-only home. I try to have good leash manners but I'm a strong boy so I need an equally strong, confident handler in case I see something fun to chase-like a squirrel! I would love for you to come meet me! Trainable and eager: He happily comes when called, responds well to sit, and even began offering an enthusiastic “auto-sit” once he understood the game. Playful but gentle: Enjoys chasing tossed toys and will bring them back for a few rounds, keeping play polite and soft. Curious explorer: Alternates between sniffing his surroundings and a bit of leash pulling as he takes everything in. Dog-social: Plays politely and gently with other dogs in shelter playgroups.
