He will need an experienced home committed to further training. Jonesy would do best in an adult-only home. Trainable and eager: He happily comes when called, responds well to sit, and even began offering an enthusiastic “auto-sit” once he understood the game. Playful but gentle: Enjoys chasing tossed toys and will bring them back for a few rounds, keeping play polite and soft. Curious explorer: Alternates between sniffing his surroundings and a bit of leash pulling as he takes everything in. Dog-social: Plays politely and gently with other dogs in shelter playgroups.
