Jonesy is young adult, 84-pound Rottweiler mix. Jonesy is a medium energy guy who knows how to enjoy the slower things in life, but also enjoys long waks. Jonesy is a pleasure to walk on leash. He loves to use his nose and goes on regular sniffaris. Jonesy is extremely food motivated and has proven himself a good candidate for further training. He will need an experienced home committed to further training. Jonesy would do best in an adult-only home. Ideally the person who adopts Jonesy would have experience with Rottweilers or done some research into the breed. Jonesy is comfortable around other dogs with the right match, but would be equally happy as a cherished solo companion.

Goulash is a tender-hearted Rottie mix with an extra gooey center. At only 1-year old, Goulash is a bit nervous in the shelter and meeting new people but blossoms with his pal Schnitzel or another calm canine companion and a slow intro with lots of yummy treats. Once he feels safe, he melts into a wriggly, tail slapping goof who loves chasing balls (he is all paws!) and soaking up affection from his trusted humans. He is dog social and would love canine friends who are calm co-existers to help him learn about navigating the world as a good canine citizen. Due to his fear and sensitivity around handling, Goulash would do best in a home without young kids and with people who can give him the time and space to open up.
