Story
Grayson is a big, white hunk of love! He is the biggest love bug and cuddly boy you will ever meet. He is a licking machine and will try to give you kisses any chance he gets. And don’t be deceived by his size, all 63lbs of this affectionate boxer boy loves to cuddle and act like he’s small enough to be a lap dog. He will play ball, go for walks/hikes, jog with you, or play in the backyard. He’s also a chill boy in the house and will lay in his bed or cuddle with you in yours. He can be active outside and mellow inside, best of both worlds! He loves going on outings and gets excited to go for car rides. Grayson is the ultimate adventure buddy and is always up for anything! Grayson does get a little anxious when left alone and would prefer someone who can hangout with him most of the day and take him on fun adventures! He is very food motivated so you cannot leave him unattended in a room with food or he will find it (and eat it lol)! Grayson loves all people, including kids, and would be a great addition to any family. He can be jumpy when he gets excited, so dog savvy children would be better for him. Grayson does get along with some dogs but can be reactive with others. He is mostly reactive when on the leash but if out in a yard he is very playful and friendly with dogs. We have found that he is great with small dogs male or female! He is a very good playmate and friend to the resident small female dog that lives with him. He can be selective when it comes to bigger male dogs. Overall, Grayson could thrive in a home without other dogs, with small dogs, or with dogs who are submissive. If you think Grayson could be a good fit for you, please apply online to meet him. He is awaiting his forever home that will embrace his loving, goofy self!

Story
Meet Maple - Our Lovely Golden Girl with a Spark!Maple is a gentle, loving older lady with a heart full of sweetness and a nose that can find a treat from a mile away! Snacks are absolutely the way to her heart - but she also has a delightful amount of pep and enthusiasm for life. This beautiful senior girl may have a calm, kind spirit, but don't let her gray hairs fool you - Maple loves to get up and go. She has plenty of energy and enjoys lively walks, exploring the world with a happy tail, and engaging with her people. After her adventures, she's equally content to settle in for cozy naps and soak up affection.Maple came to us with a mammary tumor that was removed during her stay in our care. While testing showed that it had likely already metastasized, she currently shows no signs of illness. Her expected survival could be two years or more - but even if her time may be somewhat shorter, that only makes it more important that she find her forever home soon, with someone who will cherish her golden days.Maple is a "Pawspice" adoption, meaning the East Bay SPCA will provide specific ongoing support for her care going forward. Come meet this lovely, spirited girl to learn more and see if she's the one who'll brighten your home. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 60.2 Age: 8yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
Meet Duke, our sweet, silly and gentle one-year-old BoxerMastiff mix. He truly doesn't have a mean bone in his body; he adores people, kids, and even cats! Duke is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He walks best with a Halti, he’s still learning not to pull and can be a bit reactive on leash, so an experienced handler is preferred. Duke would thrive in a home with a large yard or open space to roam, as he’s definitely not suited for apartment living. His only real bad habit is that he sometimes shreds his dog bed if he has extra energy, but with enough playtime and attention, he’s the most loving and loyal companion you could ask for. He’s a velcro dog! Unfortunately, my work schedule has recently changed, and I no longer have the time that Duke truly deserves so I’m hoping to find him a home where he can get the love, exercise, and space he needs. He has not been neutered yet because he’s a large breed and still growing.

Story
Deuce has been rehomed twice (including with me) already. He’s 2 and a half or 3 years old. Before I got him, I was told he was used to being alone, with no other dogs around, but once he got rehomed, and bred, he suddenly was living with about 5 other dogs. Eventually things got a bit heated and I spectated him from the pack. He’s been an awesome dog! Very patient, strong, healthy, and handsome! He’s also potty trained and doesn’t tear anything up other than his toys! He REALLY loves to play with balls (especially ones like basketballs!). Just a little suspicious when it comes to other dogs but is great with people! I would recommend him to anyone who doesn’t have animals (like cats or other dogs/ small animals that roam) and who enjoy a big ol’ cuddle bug! My landlord wasn’allowing me to keep him which is why I’m having to unfortunately rehome him. I’ve tried fosters, humane societies, etc, and all have no space! I don’t want to send him to the county so plz if you can share or adopt

Story
I adopted Luke when he was a year old over eight years ago, so he's now 9 years old; although you'd never guess it with his energy. This boy has been my soulmate. We've traveled through multiple states together during the younger years of my life, and he has been my constant companion. Luke thrives best in a home with no other dogs or cats. He truly loves being an only child and enjoys having his people all to himself. He currently takes fluoxetine (for anxiety) and Zenrelia (for allergies). Because of his needs and his preference for a pet-free home, he'd do best with an experienced adopter who can continue his routine and provide stability. I will provide a year’s worth of medication help maintain this stability. He is loving, loyal, goofy, and full of life. He bonds deeply with his person and wants nothing more than to be part of your daily world.
