Story
Meet Bebe 💛 Bebe is a smart, medium-energy dog who’s looking for an experienced, confident adopter to help her shine. She already knows “sit” and is highly food motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience for both of you. Bebe does pull on leash and will do best with a strong, consistent handler who can continue working on her walking skills and provide clear guidance. She prefers slow, thoughtful dog introductions and would thrive with someone who understands how to set her up for success in social situations. She is not good with cats, so a cat-free home is a must. With the right structure, patience, and tasty treats, Bebe has all the potential to become a loyal, well-mannered companion. If you enjoy training and building a bond through consistency and teamwork, Bebe could be your perfect match. 🐾

Story
Jonesy is young adult, 84-pound Rottweiler mix. Jonesy is a medium energy guy who knows how to enjoy the slower things in life, but also enjoys long waks. Jonesy is a pleasure to walk on leash. He loves to use his nose and goes on regular sniffaris. Jonesy is extremely food motivated and has proven himself a good candidate for further training. He will need an experienced home committed to further training. Jonesy would do best in an adult-only home. Ideally the person who adopts Jonesy would have experience with Rottweilers or done some research into the breed. Jonesy is comfortable around other dogs with the right match, but would be equally happy as a cherished solo companion.

NOTE:Please be sure to submit the application at the HSNB website! If you do not receive confirmation from us, email adoptions@hsnb.org .https://www.hsnb.org/dog-adoption-application---Well, hello! I'm Bobby! I'm a Rottweiler/Great Pyrenees mix (with a bit of Giant Schnauzer and Bernese Mountain Dog). The humans here tell me I have beautiful, loving eyes and am quite the looker! I just know...I love hanging out with people I trust AND KNOW. But I'm fearful of strangers and that fear presents as jumping and barking at strangers, so it takes time to get to know me. But once we're friends, I'll love you forever and be the most loyal companion. I love playing with other dogs, even ones that are smaller than me, because, let's face it, most dogs are smaller than me! So I would love to play with another doggo pal! Due to my extra large size, I would do best in an adult-only home. I try to have good leash manners but I'm a strong boy so I need an equally strong, confident handler in case I see something fun to chase-like a squirrel! I would love for you to come meet me! And if you already have another dog, bring them to meet me to see if we will get along. Check out my latest profile video here!https://www.hsnb.org/youtube-bobby-15330My adoption fee is $150. See you soon! 💕 Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 82 Age: 5yrs 6mths 2wks

Story
Waiting for fur-ever home for 1 year Hi there, my name is Octavia, a spayed female, 2 year old, Rottweiler/Staffie mix that currently weighs about 80lbs. I'm an affectionate young lady that loves to love. I love belly rubs and going on walks! I'm an excellent kisser and cuddler too! I do my very best not to jump up on people to say hello but sometimes I forget then I remember again, and it ends up being more of a bunny hop. I'm a really smart girl that already knows 'watch me', 'sit', 'down' and of course the best game known to dog kind... Fetch! I really love being around people, I have been called a lovebug, and would be a wonderful constant companion for anyone looking for an affectionate but very energetic new friend. Let's go on adventurous hikes and explore the great, wide world together! I sometimes get overwhelmed since I'm still getting used new things, but with your gentle guidance, I can overcome anything! I can't wait to meet the whole household including any resident dogs before going home. For more information, just ask Customer Service about Octavia ID# A953428 I recently went on a fieldtrip with one of my PHS Volunteer friends! Here's how I did: I took Octavia on an offsite adventure today! I picked her up in the morning and she greeted me with one of her signature bear hugs. Octavia happily got into my car and was calm in the back seat the whole way to my house. We started the adventure by taking a walk in the neighborhood. Octavia is very easy to walk - loose leash the entire way. Once done with our walk, I brought her to my house. She was excited to be in the house and started checking the place out. She happily greeted my husband - this was their first meeting. Then she headed for the outdoors where she thoroughly enjoyed her signature slide on the grass move. She enjoyed coming in and out during our outing and took herself to the backyard to take care of her business. We also ate lunch in front of Octavia and she was polite the entire time. Of course she tried to melt us with her beautiful puppy eyes, but she did not beg for food. During our entire outing, Octavia was very mindful of her manners - she came when called, sat when asked and gave us lots of affection. She thinks she is a lap dog and literally sat on my lap for affection. We ended the day with another walk. We passed barking dogs, an off leash dog, and a gardener with a blower, all with no fuss of any kind from our girl. She is a sweet and lovable girl! I uploaded videos and pics of our day.Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by.
