Zelda is also quite an affectionate girl - she enjoys rubs and love. I make sure to give her lots of affection when we return to the dorm. Good girl! Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! He is social and loves playing with other dogs and very open to meeting new people. Off the bat, he will be very excited to meet and play with you. He loves playing fetch and chewing on chew toys.He typically sleeps outside in a warm dog house at night, but he is fine indoors and spends most of his time there. He lives with another big dog, a female German Shepherd. Out of the two dogs, even though he's bigger, he's actually more timid, often coming to his owner for comfort when she bullies him. He would do well in another household with a dog he can play with, or that can take him out to socialize with other dogs. Callie is an amazing dog, she loves chasing after a ball and frisbee. She loves going on walks and car rides. The day after we took her in, we rescued 7 more dogs a momma and her six babies from an unhoused couple. Callie was an amazing surrogate to the babies. Not sure when things changed, but Callie and two of the other dogs no longer get along. We have tried to find all the pups home but have not had much luck and I refuse to take them to a shelter. We have paid for all the dogs vaccines, boosters, and they are all fixed. Ideally I would love someone to adopt her and we could be her permanent dog sitter when and if you ever needed. We can provide all her medical records and she has a crate with a K9 ballistic bed. I have more info to provide so if you’re seriously considering her please let me know.
