Story
Meet Eros 🖤Eros is a 1‑year‑old Rottweiler with a heart full of love and a whole lot of fun to give. He’s still very much a baby at heart, and learning is an important part of his upbringing. Like any young Rottie, he loves to bounce and play, but he’s also respectful and eager to please.Eros is working on his leash manners and will thrive with someone who can continue guiding him as he grows. Because he’s a strong, intelligent breed, we’re looking for an experienced owner who understands how to shape a young Rottie into the confident, well‑mannered adult he’s meant to be.He’s currently pending his dog test while he recovers from his neuter. If you’re looking for a loving, goofy, loyal companion who’s ready to learn and bond deeply with his person, Eros may be the perfect match.Eros's adoption fee is $175, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! Story
Meet Magnus! Magnus is a handsome senior Rottweiler mix with a calm, gentle soul and a heart full of love. He came to us through no fault of his own when his landlord would no longer allow pets. In the home, Magnus is described as relaxed, well-mannered, and wonderfully affectionate—he loves meeting new people and will happily nudge your hand until you give him some well-deserved pets. Magnus does beautifully in a quiet household and is content to lounge on his dog bed, nap while you’re at work, or enjoy a nice walk or time in a fenced yard. He’s house-trained, knows several commands, and even rings a bell to let you know when he needs to go outside. He’s been around a young child and was noted to be patient, gentle, and playful. Magnus also enjoys car rides, trips to the beach, and anything involving water—plus sweet potatoes and smoked turkey are high on his favorites list! This sweet senior is looking for a calm, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years, soak up affection, and be the loyal companion he’s always been.

Story
My Dozer was a SPCA adoption. He is a very sweet dog, loves beind rubbed. When I brought home I did not expect Dozer to get so big, when I got him I was told he was an American Bull Terrier, not...I am almost 70. He's too much for me to handle, and to big for my small home. I love him, but he is just to much for me to handle. Dozer needs more than I am able to give him. Lisa

Story
Winnie was adopted about a year ago through the county, was told she was 5. She is such a sweet dog, loves to lick and stay by your side, whoever had her before us definitely had her in obedience school! About 3 months ago she out of the blue couldn’t stand, after about a week (money) she went to the vet, was told she didn’t have a stroke, which is what it appeared to be, bloodwork, X-rays etc. was told needed to see a neurologist but that isn’t in the cards. Working with her she is back to her normal self with the exception she does drag her front left paw. But that doesn’t stop her from running! Overall she is healthy, and utd on shots. I would not recommend older folks as she pulls going out the door on a leash, once she is out she is fine, but that just could be because I do not have a yard to run. So she had to be on a leash. She does not jump! She does excite pee. And she is somewhat crate trained but will pee if she is in there to long.
