She would do best in a home with no children or older children who will respect her boundaries and no other pets, as she enjoys being the center of your world. While Liberty can get along with some dogs, she is selective about her canine companions and prefers to choose her friends. She’s housebroken, well-behaved, and walks beautifully on a leash. With a medium energy level, Liberty loves her outings but also knows how to unwind and relax when it's time to settle down. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cherish your company, Liberty might be the perfect fit!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Hi!!!! I’m Bubbles!!! I’m about 2… or maybe 3… who really knows?? Time is a construct and I prefer to live in the present! I’m a 50 lb Rottweiler mix and my foster mommy says I am literally the sweetest, most affectionate, loving dog in the whole entire world. I need to gain a few more pounds so my foster family is generous with yummy food and supplements. I recently traveled all the way from Texas to Maryland with my three babies — Harry, Hermione, and Winky. I was the BEST mama ever and took such good care of them through a really hard situation. They’re finding their own families now… and it’s finally my turn to be someone’s baby!!! Let me tell you about my areas of expertise: ~Professional Helper~ Oh you’re doing laundry? I can help!! Making dinner? I can help!! Working from home? I can help!! Going to the bathroom? I can DEFINITELY help!! I like to remain within approximately 30 inches of your feet at all times. It’s called dedication. ~Dramatic Belly Flops~ Every time you make eye contact with me, I will immediately throw myself backwards onto the floor and go belly up for rubs. I cannot control it. It just happens. ~Snuggle Optimization~ The second you sit down, I gently situate myself between your legs for maximum petting efficiency. I don’t make the rules. ~Walk Queen~ My foster mommy says that of all the dogs she has ever walked, I am by FAR her favorite. I walk right next to you and match your speed perfectly. I’ve gone on 5-mile walks without slowing down… but I’m also perfectly happy with a short snowy stroll. I love saying hi to friendly dogs and mostly all the people willing to pet me! ~Low-Key House Princess~ Inside the house, I am calm, quiet, and so settled. I don’t run around. I don’t bark at anything. I don’t really care about toys despite the vast collection offered to me. I really just want to be close to you, get rubbed, and take cozy naps. Velcro dog? Yes. Proudly. Next question. I live with two tiny human foster sisters (ages 4 and 6!) and I am SO gentle and sweet with them. I don’t steal their stuff! I just love being near them! I’m spayed, I know “sit” and “come,” and I’m extremely polite. I’m also very food motivated (hello peanut butter Kong), which makes me a delight to work with. I sleep like an angel in my crate all night long and settle beautifully in the home. I’ve spent my life taking care of everyone else. Now I deserve a warm, cozy couch and a family who will spoil me forever and ever. If you’re looking for the most loyal, gentle, loving shadow to follow you around and adore you for the rest of your life… It’s me. Bubbles!!!
