Story
Hi, I’m Romeo! I’m a low-key guy who loves belly rubs, naps, and being near people. My owner recently had to start working long shifts, and I’m spending way too much time by myself. I’m hoping to find a foster family who can keep me company and let me be part of the pack. The Details: • Great with cats and medium dogs • Not a fan of small dogs (bad experience) • Up to date on shots • Not neutered • Allergic to chicken • I’m house-trained and very respectful of your stuff • I come with my own supplies, food service, and ongoing medical support from my owner If you’ve got room in your home and heart, I’d love to meet you.

Story
I`m in a foster home! To adopt me, email my foster parent at jakubalis@gmail.com.I`m Mattie! Apparently, my name has something to do with `showing strength in battle` and indicates that I am brave and courageous -- which is true. My previous chapter was not so great, but you wouldn`t be able to tell if you met me today. I am a happy, go-lucky gal and very good at making friends. Being part Rottweiler, means I have a good amount of energy and strength, and I should continue my daily studies in loose-leash walking that I have embarked on here. I also have some other basic manners under my belt, so living with me should be fun as I learn fast as long as I get paid well in yummy treats. My gorgeous black coat makes me a real looker, so you can see, I am the whole package! If you are ready for a bunch of fun and mischief with oodles of sweetness, please consider taking smart and pretty Mattie home today.

She would do best in a home without children or other pets, as she enjoys being the center of your world. While Liberty can get along with some dogs, she is selective about her canine companions and prefers to choose her friends. She’s housebroken, well-behaved, and walks beautifully on a leash. With a medium energy level, Liberty loves her outings but also knows how to unwind and relax when it's time to settle down. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cherish your company, Liberty might be the perfect fit!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Belle was given to my daughter when she was 1 month old. She loves to play, very energetic and affectionate. She was the light I needed after my car accident, she gave me the push I needed to get up and not give up. After a few months I was finally able to go back to work but now I am not home with her the way she needs, I cannot give her the attention she once received so I have to be selfless and give her the home she needs and deserves.

Long sniffy walks, romps in the park, all those adventures to burn off that awesome young-dog energy - yes, please! Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed round out her wish list.  What she wants most of all, though, is to know she's safe and loved and under her own roof. To know she's a cherished part of a family. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship and to always put a smile on your face. What do you say? Is Sadie the one you see by your side? What Shelter Staff Say About Sadie: Sadie spent some time on the Dogs Playing For Life Canine Center campus in Florida. There, she received basic training and enrichment, and socialized with other dogs. Sadie worked on the Sit and Place commands there. She also worked on loose leash walking and sitting at open doors, waiting to be released to go out. She also got to play with enrichment toys such as food-filled Kongs and food puzzles. In playgroup, she's been very dog social and was really good with dogs who needed a little help socializing with others. She loves wrestling with pup pals! What My Foster Says About Me:   She is the sweetest and kindest pup ever. Does phenomenal in the crate and is quiet, never barks. Loves the dog park. Loves belly rubs and is very open/sweet to meeting other dogs on walks. She’s super social.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
