Story
Stella is a true girl’s girl. She bonds especially closely with women and absolutely lights up around her favorite ladies. If you’re looking for a loyal bestie who’s all about sisterhood, soft moments, and standing by her people, Stella is ready to join your family. As a pretty lil` Rottie, Stella can seem a little intimidating at first glance: she’s strong, statuesque, and carries herself with presence. But behind that bold exterior is a sweet girl who’s still figuring out her footing in the world. She may take a little time to warm up, especially in new situations, but patience and kindness go a long way with her.Stella`s not one for all the drama (a bit of chisme is tempting, though)—she just wants to feel secure, understood, and part of a loving home.Stella would thrive with someone who appreciates her protective heart and is ready to build trust at her pace. In return, you’ll get devotion, companionship, and a ride-or-die kind of love. Strong on the outside. Sweet on the inside.

She would do best in a home with no children or older children who will respect her boundaries and no other pets, as she enjoys being the center of your world. While Liberty can get along with some dogs, she is selective about her canine companions and prefers to choose her friends. She’s housebroken, well-behaved, and walks beautifully on a leash. With a medium energy level, Liberty loves her outings but also knows how to unwind and relax when it's time to settle down. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cherish your company, Liberty might be the perfect fit!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Meet Ordelia (A534493)!Ordelia is a gentle, thoughtful pup who is still learning how to feel confident in new situations. She can be a little nervous at first, but she warms up quickly—especially if you have a few tasty treats to share. She takes them gently and appreciates kind words and soft pets.On walks, Ordelia does beautifully—she’s easy to leash, curious about her surroundings, and enjoys quietly observing the world around her. While she’s still figuring out dog-to-dog interactions, she’s tolerant and would likely do best with calm, respectful canine friends or as the only dog where she can blossom at her own pace. This sweet girl is looking for a patient and loving adopter who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to truly shine. With trust and kindness, Ordelia is sure to become a devoted companion.

Meet Pistachio: your pocket-sized bundle of joy!If you love the adorable face of a Boxer but prefer a smaller package, Pistachio might just steal your heart. With his mini-Boxer looks and expressive face, he’s impossibly cute and full of personality.Pistachio is playful, silly, and always ready for fun. He loves chasing balls, romping around, and showing off his joyful, puppy-like energy. Even though he still has that happy puppy spirit, he’s also polite in his kennel and keeps it clean which is a good sign he may already be house-trained.This sweet boy lives for belly rubs (watch that back leg go!) and absolutely loves treats. He takes them gently and is very food-motivated, which should make training fun and rewarding for both of you.Come meet Pistachio, he’s saving a belly rub just for you.
