She would do best in a home with no children or older children who will respect her boundaries and no other pets, as she enjoys being the center of your world. While Liberty can get along with some dogs, she is selective about her canine companions and prefers to choose her friends. She’s housebroken, well-behaved, and walks beautifully on a leash. With a medium energy level, Liberty loves her outings but also knows how to unwind and relax when it's time to settle down. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cherish your company, Liberty might be the perfect fit!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Mamma’s GirlMEET JELLY!   She is gorgeous. She is polite. She is dogs-of-all-sizes-friendly and loves her people hard. This young lady is blossoming under our very eyes and is filling out from her very underweight initial condition when she was found as a stray. Now in a loving and structured foster home, this knock out is quickly becoming part of the family unit and is making herself a part of the three-dog pack. She runs, plays, takes structured walks with, and relaxes with the resident and visiting dogs. We can’t be happier for how life is turning out for her!   Jellyfish is a natural beauty with a long tail and the most soulful eyes. She is slowly gaining the weight she should and is now about 65 lbs and approximately 1 year old. Housebroken and non-destructive, she has earned supervised access to her foster home and her foster brothers are teaching her two extremely important household skills: Relaxation and neighborhood watch. If Foster Mom is around, however, she would prefer to abandon her post and sit nearby.    Miss Jelly has had a few outings and not only did great in the car (mostly looks out the window) but was wonderful meeting new people and was sweet with all of the new humans she met. She has met kids ranging in age from 3 to 12 while on leash and happily accepted pets from all adults (men and women alike), although she sometimes still shows shy behavior around Foster Dad who is the biggest/tallest of the bunch. Due to her large size (she is also still growing) we think it would be best to go to a home with children over the age of 10 so she doesn’t accidentally knock anyone over. (She has a VERY enthusiastic greeting that Foster Mom is working on tampering down a bit.)   Jellyfish’s adoption donation fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for her by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org.  Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.   More about Jellyfish Up-to-date with vaccinations Good with dogs House trained Crate trained Spayed September 7, 2026, 10:04 am

Name: LOKI Age: 3 Breed: Rottie Size: Large Hello there, I need to rehome my boy LOKI. I work a lot out of town and I rarely have time spent with him. I need him to go to a good home with lots of love and attention. He does have a little behavioral issues hasn’t really socialize with other dogs. Due to the fact I don’t spend a lot of time with him. He isn’t neutered so he does mark but rarely. He is playful can be a little heavy hahaha. I’ve been asking friends and family but doesn’t want him due to his breed :/. So I gave this a shot hoping for Loki for a family he deserves.

Story
Meet Riley With her stunning crystal-blue eyes and infectious smile, Riley is the kind of dog who turns heads everywhere she goes. But it’s her sweet personality that truly steals hearts. Riley’s journey began when she decided to take matters into her own paws. Looking for a fresh start, she wandered into a neighborhood BBQ through an open gate, introduced herself to the guests, and quickly became the life of the party. The delicious smells may have caught her attention, but it was her friendly, affectionate nature that won everyone over. Today, Riley is searching for a forever family of her very own. Riley is a loving, social girl who enjoys spending time with her people. She walks beautifully on a leash and is always ready for an adventure, whether that’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a trip to your favorite park. After a day of exploring, she’s happy to curl up beside you for snuggles and relaxation. Despite her athletic build, Riley is a gentle soul with a heart of gold. She loves attention, enjoys making new friends, and has a happy-go-lucky personality that brightens every room she enters. Her unforgettable blue eyes may be what first catches your attention, but her loyal, loving nature is what will make you fall in love. Riley is ready to leave her wandering days behind and become someone’s cherished family member. All she needs now is a family to call her own. Adoption Fee: $350 Transport Fee: $200-$250 Health Certificate: $50-$100 Microchip Registration: $13 If you’re looking for a best friend who will keep you smiling every day, Riley is waiting to meet you. ##2762958##

Story
We adopted Cain at 6 weeks old and he is now about a year and half. He has been to a board and train facility and has lived in a house with a family of 7. He does well with kids and so far has done well with other dogs though may need baby stepped into new interactions with unknown dogs. He is a wonderful protector and very loving. We currently live on 3 acres of land and he has the whole backyard to himself. Unfortunately with our new schedules he is just not getting enough attention and it is unfair to him that he is either in his crate or stuck in the backyard, on most days he spends no less than 10 hours by himself. Looking for someone who can give him the time and attention he needs!
