Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Jaba is an 80-pound Rottweiler mix with the heart of a true gentle giant. He’s incredibly sweet, craves human attention, and loves staying close to his people. With his easy-going personality, Jaba is happiest just being near you and soaking up affection. He does well with other dogs but has not yet met kids and does not do well with cats, so a cat-free home is a must. Jaba is both potty trained and crate trained, though he does not enjoy being crated while his humans are away for work and has been known to find his way out—he’d likely do best with a secure setup or alternative confinement plan. Jaba is smart and eager to please. He knows sit, down, and stay, though he does pull on the leash and would benefit from continued training. With consistency, he has great potential to polish his manners. He enjoys toys but tends to eat plush ones, so tougher toys are best. Jaba is also content playing independently and can entertain himself. Sweet, loyal, and calm, Jaba truly lives up to the title of “gentle giant.” He’s looking for a loving home that will appreciate his affectionate nature and help him continue to grow into the best boy he can be. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 4 years Adoption Fee: $300

Story
Zeus ❤ What a gentleman! Talk about aging like fine wine ❤ Zeus makes you feel like you are his entire world. He knows how to kiss on command. When you say kiss, he licks your face (yeah, may not be a good idea if you have makeup on). At mealtimes, he kisses you to let you know it’s time to get his meals ready. (he likes a little bit of green beans with his kibbles). Zeus can be rude when it comes to affection. He plows into people for affection. Imagine 150lb leaning into you. He also gives paw and the handsomest smiles. When you lay down at night, he comes over and puts his head on your chest for pets and also as if to say, ‘sleep tight, my love’. He always lies next to you when you relax at night and when you fall asleep, he makes his way to his own bed. He sleeps out. He is respectful of the house and everything in it. In the morning, he comes over to lick your nose, an indication that it is time to wakey wakey. If you don’t mind sharing the couch with him, watch out – he is a couch hog. At 150lb. no surprise there! Zeus greets you at the door when you come home. Aren’t these traits enough to make you swoon? Zeus loves toys. He plays with stuffed toys by destroying them. He destroys all stuffed toys except this one purple Rhino. He plays with it and licks it until it is stinky and gross. Zeus knows sit and shake. He takes treats nicely. Here’s a little secret Zeus doesn’t want us to share but we are gonna anyways. Zeus does not like to poop and pee by himself😕 He wants someone to ‘hold his hand’ while he does that. Other Zeus dislike – he hates the trash truck. Zeus is 8 years old, 150lb Rottweiler. He is looking for a quiet home where he can chill and relax with his humans. He is good with girl dogs, selective with boys. *Disclosure - Zeus’ right foot occasionally gets swollen from allergies. He has a fatty tumor under his neck. He does not do well with anesthesia*

Story
Hi, I’m Jaxx 💙 I’m almost 7 years old, and if I had to pick one word to describe myself, it would be loyal. I listen well, I love deeply, and I’ll never turn down a good game of fetch. In fact, my favorite thing in the whole world is my ball—I’ll happily chase it for as long as you’ll throw it, and then I’ll carry it proudly in my mouth like it’s my baby. Life hasn’t always been easy for me. I was rescued once already, and now, because of circumstances beyond my control, I’m searching for a forever home again. My family is heartbroken—they call me part of their family, but housing changes mean I can’t stay with them. They just want me to be safe, happy, and loved. Here’s what you should know about me: 🐾 I adore kids of all ages—I’ve grown up alongside them and I’m gentle and patient. 🐾 I prefer women and children, but I can warm up to men with time and kindness. 🐾 I’m well-behaved, crate trained, and sleep peacefully on my dog bed. 🐾 I’m leash-trained (though sometimes I get excited and pull a little). 🐾 I love people—neighbors say I’m wonderfully behaved. If I could design the perfect day, it would be running in an open field, chasing my ball, and getting a few tasty treats before curling up for cuddles with my family. I’m not looking for much—just someone who will love me, play ball with me, and promise I won’t ever have to lose my home again. Could that someone be you?

Story
Hello I am Ryder 💙 I’m about 8 months old, part Rottweiler, part Shepherd, and 100% good boy ☺️ My life started out a little rough 😔 Houston streets ➝ loud shelter ➝ euthanasia list. 🥺 My floppy ears might have heard a loud shelter, and my soft eyes might have seen some not so nice things. I’m not afraid to say it made me a sensitive guy. Think emotional support dog who also steals your socks 🧦 kidding I don’t do that, the only thing ill steal is your heart ❤️ When my foster picked me up, I hopped into her car like, Ah yes, This is my Uber to safety 🚕 boy was I right. Since then, I’ve been learning what love, consistency, and full food bowls feel like. I’m a big fan by the way! 🤤 I can be a little shy when meeting new people, give me a minute and I’ll be leaning into you like we’ve been best friends forever 💙 I’m actually pretty mellow for a puppy. I enjoy my chaos in short, scheduled bursts followed by long naps 💤 I’m goofy, smart, loyal to my core, and already practicing my future role as your shadow ☺️ I live with my foster brothers, a Labradoodle and a Beagle mix and I’m obsessed with other dogs of all sizes. Play time is my favorite 🐾 Im good with kids I’m gentle and polite 🥰 Things I love, in no particular order 😀 🏞️ Walks so we can keep each other motivated. 🧸Toys so we can play together. 🚙Car rides so we can go on adventures. 💤 Napping so we can cuddle. ☺️ Being told I’m handsome my, no explanation needed. I’d do great with a family who wants a calm, loving companion or with an active person who’s looking for a loyal best friend who will choose you every single day 🥹 I’ve been waiting for my forever. And I just know when you meet me you’ll fall in love. I’m Ryder not the kind of dog who just walks beside you… I’m the kind who rides through life with you ❤️ 📍 Houston, Texas TRANSPORT AVAILABLE 🚗 💌Please apply at realrottweilerrescue.com

Story
Meet Dolly 🌸 She is a low-maintenance, easygoing girl who enjoys short walks, lounging in the sun, and relaxing in the grass. She loves affection and quiet companionship more than anything. She gets along with other animals as long as they give her space, she’d do best in a calm home with relaxed pets or as the only animal. Dolly is a gentle 9-year-old, 55-pound sweetheart who has overcome more hardship than any dog should. She spent the first part of her life chained to a tree in Indiana for three long years, used for breeding until she could no longer have puppies. When she was no longer wanted, she was left to live in a car in Ohio. 🌸Despite everything she’s been through, Dolly’s heart is pure gold. She’s now working on gaining back some healthy weight and learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and recently had a few growths removed, so she’s ready for her forever home. After everything she’s survived, Dolly truly deserves a peaceful, loving place to call home, one where she can finally just be loved. ❤️ Text to meet Dolly 🌸440.773.1707 / (216) 470-4322❤️

He enjoys playtime and activity, but he’s just as happy giving love and soaking up affection. Blaze is currently learning his commands and is a great listener who responds well to guidance. He can be a little jumpy at times, but he corrects easily and is eager to please. Blaze does well with kids and other dogs and has not yet met cats. He walks nicely on a leash overall, though he may pull a bit when he spots something exciting—something that will continue to improve with practice. MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Jazzy is a 4-year-old Boxer mix with a tender heart and a quiet soul. 💙 Although he may be missing an eye, it just makes him all the more unique! Jazzy’s working hard on potty training and truly wants to please his people — consistency and patience will help him continue to succeed. He is crate trained and does well having a safe, cozy space of his own, although he may be vocal at times before settling down. This sweet boy prefers durable chew bones, as blankets and stuffed toys tend to become his creative projects. Jazzy is shy and easily startled around new people, but once he feels safe, his gentle nature shines through. Jazzy thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where he has another dog or people around to keep him company and feeling safe. He is kid-friendly, calm, and more of a quiet observer than a rowdy participant. If you’re looking for a sensitive, loyal companion who just needs a little time to feel secure, Jazzy may be the perfect fit.
