Story
Meet Ozzy! This handsome 1 year old, 74 pound, Rottweiler boy is bursting with energy, charm, and a whole lot of love! Ozzy is the kind of pup who turns every moment into a chance for playtime, chasing a ball, romping around the yard, or wrestling, Ozzy is the perfect playmate. Ozzy is a high energy boy, but with the right family and a little bit of training, Ozzy would make the perfect family dog or companion. Ozzy`s eyes light up every time he sees someone, thrives on every interaction and would be the perfect companion for an active family or individual who’s ready to match his playful side. He’s smart, eager to learn, especially if treats are involved. Story
Mocha 7-month-old • Male Meet Mocha — a playful, smart young pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Mocha is great with other dogs and loves to play. He’s also been gentle with cats, making him a nice fit for a multi-pet home. He hasn’t spent much time around kids yet and may be a bit too energetic for very small children. This handsome boy is fully potty trained and already knows several commands in both English and Spanish, including Sit, Stay, Hand/Mano. He’s very attached to his people and has a protective streak — more of a “watchful guardian” than a tough guy, as he’s never bitten anyone. Mocha is still a puppy at heart and can be jumpy and rambunctious, so he would benefit from continued training to polish his manners. He loves rubber toys and enjoys both indoor time and being outdoors in a secure yard. Best match: An active home that can provide structure, training, and plenty of love. Mocha will thrive with someone ready to guide him as he grows into a wonderful adult dog. Smart, playful, and loyal — Mocha is ready to find his forever home! Call the shelter at 972-744-4480 or email AskRichardsonAnimalServices@cor.gov to learn more.February 13, 2026, 1:51 pm

Story
Five puppies found dumped on the countryside a day before the freeze. They were young, scared, and needed safety. They were around 8 weeks old. Guessing they may be Rottie mixes based on paws and fur. Playful, adorable and sweet puppies. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

These pups are in Plano, Texas too!
