Story

Dodger will be attending our Plano Hollywood Feed adoption event (Park/Preston) this Saturday, October 3 , from 1-2pm. Come on by and meet this sweet pup! Dodger is an adorable 7 month old 49 pound rotti/hound/corgi mix (best guess!), and one of our Baseball Litter. He is very playful and absolutely loves other dogs. He is especially friendly with people and children. He loves being outside, running around, exploring, and playing. Dodger really enjoys companionship and thrives when he has another dog around as loves having a buddy to play. Dodger is doing great with his house manners! He goes to the back door, sits, and waits to be let outside. He is fully house, crate and leash trained, too! This is a wonderful, happy, social pup waiting for his forever family to go on fun adventures! His ideal home will have someone home more than not, a fenced yard and another dog in the home. Kids are fine, too! And dog friendly cats! To meet Dodger in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application. ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs. Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. Must have a secure fence if in a house. Story

Professional Snuggler Blizzard. He was an absolute star! Blizzard is such a fast learner and a total love bug. He’s very food motivated (which makes training fun and effective!), currently learning potty training, already knows **sit**, and is about **80% reliable on stay** — pretty impressive for a young pup still figuring out the world. Very friendly meeting new people, and shows off his sweet personality. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate companion who just wants to love and be loved, Blizzard might be your guy. ❤️ Blizzard is all heart. This Rottweiler mix puppy is affectionate, playful and happiest when he’s near his people. He loves treats and is a full-time love bug. Blizzard is pee pad trained, and good with other dogs. He’s looking for a home that will give him lots of love and make him feel like he’s an important part of the family. Five puppies found dumped on the countryside a day before the freeze. They were young, scared, and needed safety. They were around 8 weeks old. Guessing they may be Rottie mixes based on paws and fur. Playful, adorable and sweet puppies. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story

Handsome Hank is a 3 year old combo of silliness and strength. He loves to play ball and play in the water. He is great riding on the car, very good motivated, knows sit. Stay. How to use a doggie door! He is dog friendly and was the nanny to 10 puppies last summer! He would like a home that lets him play in the yard but has a soft bed to sleep inside as he is an inside boy that has taste for the good life!
