Cookie is 1-2 year old Rottweiler/Lab mix that weighs 68 pounds. She was surrendered on 6/18 along with three other dogs due to the health of the owner. Her surrender form stated that she was an indoor dog and is housebroken. It also states that she gets along with children, dogs and cats. She’s very attractive with a glossy coat and a curly tail. It looks like she’s been well taken care of. She would explore the yard and then come back and either sit by me or stand and look over the wall. There was another dog walking outside the gate, and she became very excited. It was obvious she wanted to make friends. She’s very sociable, friendly, spunky, sweet and affectionate. She occasionally jumps on you but just occasionally. She walks okay on a leash. She did her business when she got out into the yard. She would love to get out and play outside or go for walks and then come in to spend family time with her new family.

Meet Rocky! He is a very handsome boy, a neutered male, mixed breed of Beauceron, Manchester Terrier & Doberman Pincher that weighs 61lbs. He was an owner surrender on 6/9 as his family could not give him the proper care. They had had him since he was 2 months old. He is unsure why he has been left at the shelter, yet we will continue to help him find his next loving home. He has lived indoors with older children, is housetrained, and appears to be well cared for. Rocky can walk fairly strongly on a leash, so additional training would help. He is ok with petting and will lean into you at times to find comfort. Tho he doesn`t appear to know any commands, he does take treats nicely. He does love toys, especially balls. He hopes in his next home he has a secured yard to play in, then come back inside where it is comfy dog bed to take naps on, and plenty of toys to choose from. If you can offer Rocky the loving home he deserves, come spend some time with him.
