Meet Lottie! She is very laid-back, calm and gentle. Lottie is a 3yr old 78lb Rottweiler mix that came to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 10/7 as a stray. Lottie has a shiny coat and beautiful golden eyes. She followed me around the yard. She came from the across the yard when I called her. She did spend a lot of time walking around the yard. She does have a semi-strong pull on the leash. She did do her business in the yard. She was reactive to a dog in a kennel next to hers. If you have another dog we advise you to ask the shelter for a dog test. Lottie would most likely be a very loyal companion to her family. She just wants to chill out. A yard would be beneficial. She wants to be in the house so she can share precious family time.

Murphy is a big guy with a big heart. Weighing in at around 100 lbs, he loves to play with anything or anybody who is willing to engage with him. He gets along great with other dogs and will certainly enjoy having a doggie playmate in his future home. A big yard to run around in would be fantastic. We would prefer only older children in his future home, strictly because of Murphy's size. You have to meet him to truly appreciate this pure bred gem of a dog. How about it? Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive. Puppy Peaches came to our rescue when she was 8 days old. She was surrendered to the shelter with her mom and siblings. She’s a survivor and oh so adorable!! She’s potty trained, vaccinated, microchiped, dog friendly, people friendly, and ready for a home of her own!
