Hi! I'm Rex! I'm an approximately 2 year old, male, Rottweiler mix. I was found off Donald Drive in Rockwall on 05/06/2025 and never reclaimed by my owner. I was originally adopted from RAC in 2024 and thought I had found my perfect match. Unfortunately, they continuously left me to my own devices in the backyard which resulted in me leaving home to seek out attention. I am a very charismatic boy who loves attention! I enjoy the company of other dogs but am not recommended in a home with small dogs, cats, or small animals. I am playful and social and ready for my furr ever family! My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and basic boosters, and am heartworm negative! Please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application and RAC staff will be in touch to schedule a meet and greet!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
