Story
Libby (4 years old, 11 pounds)  has a warm, affectionate, and loyal personality. She’s a playful social butterfly, always eager to make new friends—human or canine. Her enthusiasm for life makes her the kind of dog who brings energy and joy wherever she goes, always ready for a game of chase or tug-of-war. Despite her playful side, Libby is also a devoted cuddle bug. She thrives on affection, happily curling up next to her favorite person whenever given the chance. Whether snuggling on the couch, resting her head on your lap, or leaning against you for comfort, she’s always seeking connection. Libby's loyal and shadow-like nature means she follows her favorite person everywhere, watching them closely as if she were their little guardian. Whether you’re walking from room to room or heading out for an adventure, she’s right there, wagging her tail, ready to be by your side. She’s the perfect mix of fun-loving, affectionate, and loyal, making her an irresistible companion who brings laughter, warmth, and love into every moment. Energy Level?  Medium- she's playful and enjoys long walks but loves downtime.  House trained?  Partially. She will go potty outside when taken out but hasn't gone potty on walks and has had a few accidents while adjusting to her foster home. Describe how they are on leash?  She's a fast walker! She was a little shy at first, walking behind me, but has slowly become more confident and loves walking with the resident dog, who she is happy to allow to lead.  Describe how they are with other dogs?  She's very excited to see other dogs and is very friendly and playful.  Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  She is long with another dog and gets along with him. At times, she lets him know her boundaries but nothing overly aggressive.  Commands they know?  No. Off. Come. Maybe sit.  What are their favorite things?  Treats. Kissing her favorite people.  What do they need to work on?  Potty training, jumping on tables, and confidence—not following to every room.  How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  Only for a few hours so far, but she was good. She is also okay in a crate. Where do they sleep?  She sleeps in her crate (she seems to like it) and will join us in bed towards the morning.  What is their ideal home?  In a perfect world, one family member would be a remote worker or not leave the house as often, although she doesn't have signs of separation anxiety. She would do well with grass in a secured yard and another friendly dog. She may also do well with kids as she loves to play and doesn't seem to have any aggression. She needs someone willing to reinforce potty training and give her lots of chew bones since she likes to chew. Someone who loves sweet, soft cuddles and a loyal companion. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $800 Toys R Us 80's style! Coming at you straight from a time when shoulder pads were high, mixtapes were everything, and playtime meant serious business—these 9 week old Maltese-Shih Tzu-Chihuahua pups are here to totally rock your world. At around 10–13 lbs full grown, they’re pint-sized, puppy-powered dynamos—each with their own throwback flair. Good with kids, cats, and dogs, and already working hard on their potty training, these pups are more “Wham!” than whimper and ready to join your party (and heart) like it’s 1989. She-Ra – Princess of Paw-erShe’s beauty, she’s grace, she’ll boss you around the place. She-Ra is the alpha lady with glamor shots for days and the attitude of a mini pop diva. Fierce, funny, and smarter than your average Furby, she’s got opinions—and she’s not afraid to share them. Don’t be surprised if she ends up running your household. Give her a toy to chew, a camera to pose for, and she’s golden. Lite Brite – The Glow-Up GuyThis shy little dude might not shine right away, but give him a second and he’ll light up your life. Once he’s in your circle of trust, Lite Brite is a total cuddle bug who sticks to you like a slap bracelet. He likes to explore, prefers people over pups, and would rather vibe solo in the backyard than headline the group. He’s gentle, loyal, and just a little mysterious—basically the Duckie Dale of the litter. Rubik’s Cube – Soft on the Outside, Softer on the InsideHe may have started out puzzling, but Rubik’s Cube is now the sweetheart solution to your cuddle problems. The quietest and gentlest of the bunch, he wins over everyone with his soulful eyes and snuggle game. He’s a perfect pup for a mellow home and has shown a soft spot for older adults. Easygoing, kind, and affectionate—he’s your classic underdog with a heart of gold. No solving required. He-Man – Master of the Backyard UniverseZoomies? He invented them. Tug-of-war? He’s your guy. He-Man is the high-octane hero who runs laps like he’s training for the Puppy Olympics. With a tail that wags at warp speed and a toy obsession that rivals any 80s kid’s collection, he’s a little whirlwind of joy. Training will be key, but the fun is guaranteed. If your life’s been missing a little epic adventure, by the power of Grayskull, here he is. The Daily Routine (Because structure is radical):Wake-up calls between 5–6AM with outdoor potty parties (bring your leg warmers). These pups play hard, poop outdoors, and then crash into a snuggly nap pile. Meals are served at 7:30AM, 12PM, and 5:30PM, with grazing allowed for the slower eaters. They’re tidy in their pen during the day, but still working on those overnight accidents—hey, even Cabbage Patch Kids needed training! Ready to bring home your very own 80s throwback pup with more personality than a Trapper Keeper? These puppies are totally tubular and waiting to become your forever fuzzy sidekick.Training & Socialization: Because Puppies Aren’t Born Housebroken (Unfortunately)Just like leg warmers and cassette tapes, these pups are a work in progress—but they’re off to a great start! With a solid routine, tidy habits, and food motivation on their side, they're well on their way to becoming fully house-trained. As with any puppy, continued structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement will go a long way. They’re at the prime age for socialization, so now’s the time to introduce them to new sights, sounds, people, pets, and adventures. Whether you're signing them up for puppy kindergarten or just bringing them along for coffee shop hangs and neighborhood strolls, every experience helps shape them into confident, well-rounded companions. Be ready to commit, guide, and laugh—raising a puppy is like an 80s montage: a little messy, a lot heartwarming, and totally worth it.April 29, 2025, 5:45 am

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $600 Meet Lumi: Not for Everyone—Just the Right One   Lumi isn’t looking for just any home. She’s not your “gold star for trying” dog. She’s not going to thrive in a house where dog experience means 'we had a Golden Retriever once who liked cheese.' Lumi is a 4 year old Shih Tzu x Poodle mix who weighs in at 18 pounds and is absolutely as cute as she looks. But don’t let that perfect non-shedding coat fool you—this girl comes with attitude, opinions, and a master’s degree in Taking Over the Household if no one else steps up.   Here’s the deal: Lumi needs someone who knows dogs—not just someone who loves dogs. We’re talking about someone who understands behavior, body language, leadership, and how to set boundaries without turning everything into a therapy session. With the right person? Lumi is incredible. She walks politely on leash. She can be around other dogs without causing a scene. She chills out and listens. With the wrong person? Buckle up. She will lunge, bark, pull, and run the show like a pint-sized dictator in a fur coat.   Think of Lumi as a teenager who grew up without rules and now desperately needs structure. She’s not bad—just untrained. She’s smart, affectionate, and totally capable of being someone’s dream dog. But if you’re not confident, she knows. And then she takes over. (We’re honestly a little impressed by her tactical skills.)   The good news? Lumi doesn’t actually need a ton of exercise. She’s a homebody at heart, content to lounge and nap and be a glorious couch goblin. She can skip the dog park, pass on the playdates, and be perfectly happy with a fenced yard and someone who understands her. She’s cuddly, snuggly, and will be your loyal companion—if you’re the calm, assertive type who knows when to say “nope.”   She was adopted once before and returned—not because she’s broken, but because she was placed in the wrong environment. Lumi is not the dog for a chaotic household, a first-time dog owner, or anyone under the impression that “love fixes all.” Lumi needs leadership. She thrives with calm confidence and consistency.   Lumi is an only-dog kind of gal and would prefer a home without young kids. She’s crate trained, mostly potty trained, and happiest when she knows her place—right next to her person, but not in charge of them.   If you’re dog-savvy, structured, and looking for a smart, snuggly dog with a little edge and a lot of love, Lumi’s waiting to meet you. She's not for everyone—but she's everything for someone.April 26, 2025, 7:00 am

He’s the kind of pup who’s down for a walk, happy to chill, and always ready to flash a tail wag that says, “You’re my favorite person ever.” Don’t let the Shih Tzu-sized body fool you—this boy's got a heart the size of a golden retriever.   Fozzie is a work-from-home MVP. If you’re on Zoom calls all day, he’s hanging out quietly nearby, chewing on a rope toy or casually flopping into his donut pose on the floor. He loves people—especially his foster kids—and will happily follow you around like a furry intern, just waiting for his next assignment (spoiler alert: it’s cuddles). At night, he’s content to sleep in his crate, but he’d very much prefer to curl up at the foot of your bed like a proper bedtime bear.   He’s got a big personality with a soft center. Fozzie is sweet, curious, and occasionally protective—he’ll bark at visitors or passing dogs, not to be rude, but because he’s convinced everyone wants to be his friend. Once he’s had a minute to say “hello,” he warms up quickly and is back to being a velvety snugglebug. He recently spent a few days off-leash with a high-energy Australian Shepherd and held his own like a champ—proving that he’s got social skills and comedic timing.   Playful when you want to play, chill when you want to chill—Fozzie Bear is the best kind of versatile. He’s working on his potty training (yes, sometimes he leaves a little “note” on the hardwood), but he’s smart, eager to please, and sheepish when caught in the act. He’s crate trained, polite about chewing, and doesn’t dig or destroy—he just needs someone who’s ready to guide him through the fine print of “house rules.”   Fozzie would thrive in a home with kids, other dogs, or a family that just wants a loyal, loving companion who doubles as a fuzzy foot warmer. He’s sweet, affectionate, and shockingly trusting—he let his foster trim matted fur on his legs without fuss, laying calmly like a spa client who knows he’s about to look fabulous. You don’t get that kind of cooperation without a heart full of love and a sprinkle of magic.   So, if you're looking for a lovable goofball with teddy bear looks and a soul full of sunshine, Fozzie Bear is ready for his big debut—and he’s saving you a spot on the couch.April 25, 2025, 2:25 am
