All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped. * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, June 14th from 12-3pm or until adopted. In her coat, in her personality, and in the way she looks at you when she’s figuring out if you’re her person. She’s not the kind of dog who bursts into a room like a party cannon—but give her a little time and consistency, and she’ll be the quiet, loving shadow at your side. She’s the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a calm, cozy home and appreciates the little wins—like when she hops onto the couch for a cuddle or greets you with her signature dorky, toothy grin and full-body tail wiggle. Why Lumi might be your perfect match: She's crate trained and potty trained (occasional accidents, but she has had a lot of change!) She’s affectionate, cuddly, and happiest when she knows she’s safe She doesn't need a ton of exercise—she’d take lounging in a sunny spot over a dog park any day She’s food motivated and responds really well to calm guidance She does best as the only dog, soaking up all the love, but is non-reactive when in the presence of other dogs, such as passing them on a walk What kind of home suits her best?
