I'm good with other dogs, especially if they like to play! I'm an expert snuggler and I will keep you warm at night by being glued to your side. I have some quirks, so I'm best around predictable people (ie no small kids or other dogs with resource guarding issues). I would LOVE a big fenced yard because I love to run, but I also do great on a leash with a harness. I'm still a little unsure about riding in the car, but I'm sure with practice I would like that more because I LOVE being around my people and getting out to meet new ones! My foster mom hasn't been able to get a read on my housetraining because there are quite a few dogs at home, but she is happy to talk about it. Overall I'm a happy go lucky guy who would fit great with another small or large dog, or even as an only dog. Let's meet! Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Beau is 2/12 yrs. He is partially potty trained because of the cold winter he can't handle going outside so he wears potty wraps. But once weather is warmer about 30 deg he can be taken outside. It will take patience since he was inside so much for months. But he is a cute little squirt. Likes attention and plays with toys, likes chewies, is good with getting treats if you want to teach him simple tricks, and loves to play and chase little balls. But he will get bored if he is alone too long. He has been used to my other dogs to play with. Is leash trained. He loves dog parks to run and exercise and he has done fine at doggy daycare. He needs a kind gentle speaking voice or he will be scared if yelled at or spoken to harshly. Responds to positive reinforcement. Could be left in a kennel large enough to move around and play with toys if needed when you leave as long as you only are gone for 4 hrs. He is not a dog to leave if you have a full time job. Buttercup and her sister and brother, Bubbles and Brodie were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd this year so they are 8 months old. Buttercup has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs just under 7 pounds and is probably full grown now. Buttercup is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Buttercup is a little bossy but plays great with her brother and sister. we feel like she would be fine with other dogs after getting to know them but would always want to be the boss. She would be fine with older children, and we are not sure about cats but the bossy part would be the same at first. Hi my name is Riggy Moe and I am from Minnesota! Riggy Moe is a Senior Mini Schnauzer, she is very sweet and adorable!! She is full of personality and she is a social gal as she likes to make new friends. She does great with my other dogs as well. She also likes going for walks when the weather is nice. She is doing well with her housetraining and her crate training, I recently have let her run of my bedroom, kitchen and she has been doing well with that.She is used to sleeping on my bed with me as I have doggy stairs for her to use and she definitely let you know her place is on the bed, I affectionately call her my Sassy Princess!
