5 yrs old Bella is a beautiful silver Tsih Tzu with tons of puppy energy. She is microchipped and current on her meds. This sweet girl plays well with other dogs and is pottie trained. Sometimes she'll come to you and ask go out; other times she will stand by the door that leads outside and whimper for attention. Loves to run in the backyard and roll in the grass. Fancy is an approximately 3 year old Shih Tzu mix who came to us as a stray through a local impound. Fancy shines being around her people and being included in what ever you're doing. Be it active or hanging out on the sofa. She does well with all genders. She's even happier if there is another dog that would like to wrestle with her from time to time. Fancy could thrive in a variety of settings from a single family home, to a home with shared walls (townhome or apartment), to a mobile home! Her barking is appropriate and she redirects well. She is mostly potty trained to both the outdoors and also potty pads. As her foster has multiple dogs it's hard to give a solid yes. When humans are home, she goes out every two hours. Accidents should be expected when she first goes home, while she learns her new routine with you. As a Shih Tzu mix (flatter face), she can over heat or become breathless easier than other dogs. While she doesn't like it, she will take a time out with you to return to her fantastic baseline. Please be aware that in the heat of summer she may need air conditioning to keep her in good health. Also as a Shih Tzu mix she will need regular grooming so please include that cost into your budget. The last thing Fancy needs to work on is her recall. Fancy lives in the moment and if the moment happens that you don't have a firm grip on the leash, off she goes and it can take multiple people to corral her back. She just didn't have the training as a younger pup and this may be a clue as to how she ended up stray. She is more than worth putting the training time in. All who meet her, love her! So whether you are looking for a brunch, book club, adventure buddy or a buddy for your pack, Ms Fancy may be for you. Let's meet! Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Buttercup and her sister, Bubbles were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd last year so they are now a year old. Buttercup has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs about 6 pounds and is full grown now. She is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Buttercup is a little shy at first, and she definitely tries to boss her sister around, but they really love each other! She and Buttercup are very bonded and we would very much like to get them a home together. They are so funny together! They play and run zoomies around the house. They would do well with older children and we have not had them around cats but we feel like they would be fine with proper introduction. Hi my name is Riggy Moe and I am from Minnesota! Riggy Moe is a Senior dog, she is very sweet and adorable!! She is full of personality and she is a social gal as she likes to make new friends. She does great with my other dogs as well. She also likes going for walks when the weather is nice. She is doing well with her housetraining and her crate training, I recently have let her run of my bedroom, kitchen and she has been doing well with that.She is used to sleeping on my bed with me as I have doggy stairs for her to use and she definitely let you know her place is on the bed, I affectionately call her my Sassy Princess! She is a wonderful companion dog who already has me wrapped around her little paw as I just adore her! From the Vet: Ms. Riggy Moe is a spunky senior gal ready to find her final forever home for her golden years. She has a history of keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dry eye) and requires lifelong medication to keep her eyes comfortable and healthy. Her adopter will need to maintain consistent treatment and establish care with their primary veterinarian for ongoing eye management and monitoring. She has undergone extensive dental care, including numerous tooth extractions, to ensure her mouth is now healthy and pain-free. Upon arrival, Riggy Moe was underweight. After reaching a healthy weight, she successfully underwent surgery to repair a luxated (dislocated) left hip. She has recovered well, but her adopter should monitor her joint health long-term and keep her at a healthy weight to support mobility and comfort.

Hi, my name is Spout and I am from Minnesota. Welcome to the Sprout show! Sprout is a sweet, energetic boy who loves to be near his people. Get ready to be followed around the house and told what he needs, because this boy is quick to announce when he needs food, attention, or to go out. He will also make sure to alert you to important events, like the washing machine starting its spin cycle. Sprout currently lives with two other dogs. It took him a week or so to settle in and be comfortable with them, but now he does well with both, even enticing the old man dog of the house into short games of chase on occasion. Sprout does best with a daily walk or play session. Sprout would love a home where he can be the center of attention and who will give him the time he needs to settle into a new home. From the Vet: Sprout has been cleared by The BB Medical Team for adoption! He came to us with a few medical issues that needed to be addressed; 1 he needed a thorough shave due to significant matting, but we know that will only improve with lots of TLC and regular grooming in his forever home. He had several masses sampled and they were found to be benign follicular cysts and TBB will not pursue removal, but a future adopter is encouraged to monitor for future masses and have any evaluated with a primary care veterinarian. The biggest thing TBB will plan to take care of for Sprout is a dental surgery/cleaning with several extractions expected. This procedure will be coupled with his neuter appointment so he will be ready for his adoptive home with a new lease on life and a fresh smile to go along with it!
