History: Elroy is a handsome fella who arrived to rescue recently and immediately warmed our hearts. He is officially ready to start his journey in finding his forever home and hopes to find them soon! A Note from the Foster: Hi my name is Elroy! I was originally a breeder release and I am about 6 months old. I am a shih Tzu poodle mix and probably the cutest thing you'll ever see. Here's what you need to know about me: I am a little timid and shy but I absolutely adore my foster mom. When everyone else is gone. I love to play wrestle, get into mischief and give lots of snuggles and kisses. I'm the seriously the silliest little guy you'll ever meet. When I came to my foster mom's house it took me a day or so to get warmed up to her. I slept in my kennel and could come and go as I please next to the busy section of the house but I really liked my safe place. Now. I still go in my kennel when my mom's gone but I am in it less and less when I get to choose. I really love to be out and about but kind of on my own terms. I have a house that has four kids and lots of friends that are visiting and In-N-Out. This makes me nervous sometimes and I like to sit by Mom or go in my safe place when I need to. And when Mom is gone and the rest of the family is in charge of me then they usually will leave the leash on so it's easier to get me to go outside. I don't love the leash and I love being brought outside with a leash but I sure do love a walk on a leash. I'm kind of silly that way. I do really well with potty training and I'm starting to go by the door when I need to go outside. Sometimes I have an accident in the house but usually that's because I'm too busy playing outside to go to the bathroom and then I come in and have to go all of a sudden. I love toys. I love to go for walks and do really good on the leash. I'm looking for a house that would maybe be last people a little bit more calm and I do really well with other dogs of all sizes but when enough is enough I like to go and just snuggle with my mom. I really wish that everyone could see the amazing dog I am when it's just me and my mom and my foster dad, then I'm super silly, really cute snuggle buddy. I have baby Zumiez and Ive got the cutest little snaggle tooth that pops out when I'm mischievous. I don't chew on things that aren't for me even though I'm a puppy and can easily be redirected. Again, I am a little shy and I'm a little timid and it's going to take me time to warm up but giving the space and the right family I will get there. I probably would be the very happiest in a household that is quiet and a super confident resident dog that can show me how to do all the puppy things like sit.

History: Ramsey is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: Ramsey is adjusting well to living with a family. He loves to play with squeaky toys. Lamb chop has become his favorite toy! He is working on potty training and is making great progress! He still wears a belly band when he is not in his kennel. Ramsey gets along well with our resident dog. He is still learning how to play gently because he gets so excited. It is unknown how he would get along with cats. Ramsey gets along well with the teens in our house. It is unknown how he would do with younger children. He is kenneled at night and when we leave the house and does well. He will whine in the middle of the night when he needs to go to the bathroom. Ramsey has really blossomed into a great dog since we have fostered him. He is looking forward to growing even more in his forever home!

A Note from the Foster: Meet Emmitt! Emmitt is a fun-loving little guy with a heart full of love to give. He’s happiest playing with any kind of ball and romping around with his two larger foster siblings. Emmitt gets along wonderfully with both small and large dogs and would truly thrive in a home with another canine companion. He’s also a total people pup — you’ll often find him right at your heels, eager to snuggle and shower you with kisses. Emmitt is working hard on his potty training and does best when kept on a consistent schedule. He’s doing great overnight and has very few accidents. Because he’s still young, he’ll also benefit from a basic obedience class (which is required for all dogs under two years old). As a Shih Tzu, Emmitt will need regular grooming every 4–6 weeks to keep his coat fluffy, clean, and soft. Like many young dogs, Emmitt is still learning the ropes of being a house pup. He’ll need a patient family willing to help him continue his potty training and manners — and to keep an eye on their belongings! He has been known to proudly parade off with a bathroom rug or two. History: Hilda is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts with how sweet and loving she is and she would make a great addition to a lucky home of her own soon! A Note from the Foster: Hi everyone, my name is Hilda and my foster mom says that makes sense because she says I am a little warrior due to all I have endured the first five years of my life. You see I am a commercial breeder survivor that entered rescue about a month ago and I have been trying so hard to be brave. New sounds scare me and I do not like meeting new people; however, I have started taking a few medications to make me more confident as well as gotten my ear infections treated and an extensive dental and I am starting to feel so much better. I recently discovered the fun toys in my foster mom's house and my favorites include a squeaky dinosaur and a large bone (it's my foster brothers and it's waaaay better than my small one even if it's the same size as me). I am getting better at walking on a leash as long as I can walk behind my foster mom. In fact, I usually follow her around the house all the time, always behind her so its easier to keep an eye on everything. I sleep in my kennel but sometimes I don't like not being around everyone else so I will let out a few barks to let them know. My favorite thing is being near my people but with just enough distance to do my own thing because I do still do not appreciate all their attention. I also enjoy following the other dogs around in the yard, I am starting to figure out how to play with them as well and they make it easier for me to be confident. My foster mom says that as I get more and more comfortable, I may enjoy touch more but I also may never be a "cuddly lap dog." She says I show my affection in my own ways but it will be important that my new family is patient with me and allows me to love them in my own way. If you are able to continue allowing Hilda to learn and grow her confidence on her own timeline, we look forward to hearing from you and meeting you. This warrior girl deserves her happily ever after.
