501C3 • San Francisco • Saving Cats Medically At-Risk • PayPal :Philly Jenkins Rescue (EIN #: 99-3642588) • Foster & Donation Based Only•Indoor Only(Catio OK)•Cage Free     Hello! My name is Asia, and I am a one-year-old lynx point Siamese cat. I was rescued at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. I was born without one eye, and when Philly Jenkins Rescue provided me with all my medical care, they also surgically removed the tissue and cleaned out the cavity where my eye never developed, ensuring I did not have cancer but also sending out my tissue for lab testing. I am looking for a quiet, low-traffic home with no other pets and no children. Ideally, I would be loved by a single person who works from home and can be a patient, understanding companion for me. I am very sweet, but I have experienced a lot in my first year, so I need time to build trust and someone who understands shy cats. After my surgery, I have been in rehabilitation, during which Philly Jenkins Rescue has taken steps to learn about my preferences and dislikes, to find the perfect home for me. If you know someone who is looking for a gentle, special kitty like me, please contact Philly Jenkins Rescue to learn more. Although I have many needs, here are some of my favorite things: cardboard boxes provide me with a sense of security, I love to play with ball toys the most, I enjoy watching out the window, sunbathing on a cozy spot, climbing cat trees, and cuddling in a warm bed. I also look forward to meal times, which are very important to me. I dislike loud noises, being held forcibly, and being petted too much or too early. Meeting new people can be stressful at first, but with patience, I will warm up and become more comfortable over time.     Other special needs for those unfamiliar with one-eyed cats include:    • Easy access to water, food, and the litter box, ideally positioned at lower levels or with ramps for convenience. • Stools and chairs placed strategically to help reach window sills or perches, ensuring safe and comfortable access. • Easy access to comfortable resting places, such as cozy beds or soft cushions, located in quiet, accessible areas. • Petting from the side of her eye, taking care to approach gently and avoid startling her.      Instagram/Facebook: phillyjenkinsrescue Email: phillyjenkinsrescue@phillyjenkinsrescue.org What is done before Adoption? Story
Have you ever met a Flame-Point/Orange Tabby mix kitty? Come and meet Rambo!! He is a gem of a boy - a little shy but one handsome dude!! Just wait till he gets to know you a bit. When he was found in the Chico area in 10/29/24, he had had quite an accident which the doctors repaired. Now he has a rakish good look. He is shy but when is best friend is around, the shyness wears off pretty quickly. He is up to date with his vaccinations and is neutered, micro-chipped and ready for love. Rambo and his best friend are a wonderful pair of kittens. Any family would be lucky to have them join the family!!! Please note: Rambo should be adopted with his best friendRambo is shy and needs a quiet home.Indoor onlyPrevious medical records are available for Rambo.More information & application [ts=1763452827&src=aap]

Story
Apple is a sweet kitty with a big personality! He is a handsome lynx point Siamese tabby mix with a cute short tail. He can’t help but be the center of attention because he is vocal, social, and engaging. He's a strong alpha male. Apple is smart, independent, and doesn’t hesitate to add his thoughts to the conversation. He truly loves being petted! He is a good pal and faithful companion. He likes to interact and play with other cats and toys. Apple is FIV+ but you would never know he has a manageable immune system condition. He is healthy, active, and is expected to live a normal cat lifespan.  Apple must be on a prescription food diet to prevent urinary blockage for his entire life. It is readily available and the diet has kept the issue under control. His ideal guardian is one with experience reading cat body language and who can be confident and firm with him, as well as gentle, to gain his trust. He needs an adults only home preferably with another cat. He would probably adapt to a calm dog with careful introductions. Estimated birth date is September 2020.
