Story
MODESTO, CA: Introducing Gretchen, a delicate beauty and mix of many things (she's a dilute tortie Siamese). She is playful and a bit witty! Gretchen is a sleek and elegant cat looking for a quiet home, maybe even as an only cat. She will be a little shy initially, but once she feels comfortable with you, she will follow you around and rub against you. Gretchen was born in approximately August 2022; she has been spayed and is up to date on her shots. She gets along with other cats but she definitely prefers humans.   This is a Courtesy Post, and Gretchen is with the Cat Network of Stanislaus in Modesto, California. For more information, please contact Monica at adopt@catnetworkofstanislaus.org or 209-735-0604. Visit their website at https://catnetworkofstanislaus.org/. Please Note: This cat has not yet been tested for FIV/FeLV, to our knowledge. Potential adopters should confirm the cat’s status with their rescuer and should consult with their veterinarian for recommendations regarding testing. September 10, 2026, 9:25 pm

Story
Sugars is a spayed, 9 year old female blue point Siamese. She needs a home where she is the only cat and pet, with an experienced owner who can give her space and affection when Sugars requests it. She has hyperthyroidism and is medicated for that, with no other known health problems. She is slightly fear-based and anxious, but that is because she is in a home with other pets (safely separated). Once she is the queen of her own space, she will thrive into the remainder of her old age. She is very loving to her owner and loves sitting on their lap, requesting gentle pets. She can’t be surrender to a rescue due to not being able to be around other cats and not wanting to be confined in a small space.

Story
Sushi is a 2 year old female and is a very loving cat and has only lived with me and my big dog. I got her from a family friend and my parents from SoCal have a boy from the same litter. Sushi has undiagnosed health issues that I’ve tried to get ahead of but am unable to. She compulsively licks her skin so for the last few month she has been wearing a cone. I’ve tried antibiotics and even changed her diet to chicken and rice based but nothing has helped much. I believe her skin issues may be due to an allergy of fish or diary. Unfortunately I don’t have the funds to take her to a specialist and want to move soon. She is a very good cat, I bath her almost weekly due to her skin issues. She tolerates a bath and she does not mind wearing clothes. I’ve harness trained her around my yard with a leash and eventually I was able to let her roam freely when I was outside with my dog. I would like to find Sushi a loving home hopefully with someone I can keep in contact with.

Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with  experience Would be most comfortable in a calm adult only home Needs to be the only cat Needs to be indoor only Mocha is a girl that likes things on her terms- when to be pet and when to play! She needs an adopter that is familiar with cat body language and knows and respects boundaries. Once you have this down- she will be giving you head butts, leg rubs and snuggling into your chest while you are sleeping.  Her foster says: "She loves to lounge around in her cat bed or watch out the windows. She is curious about any work that I do around the house, but leaves me alone at my computer desk, save for putting her paws on the side of my chair when she wants pets or playtime ." If you have the patience and love for this pretty gal, and experience living with cats — especially ones with some behavior challenges — she could be just the thing for your calm household! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form below.
