Story
Nate is a suave, easy-going guy with super soft fur and a love for cheek and forehead scratches. He adores his people and loves to sit in laps. Nate is an affectionate, curious and playful guy —showing his playful spirit and zest for life. He's timid with new people or changes to his living space so he will do best with people that have experience and patience and the willingness to encourage a timid cat and support him through his adjustment to a new home and people. It will be worth your effort and won't take him long to show his personality. Once he knows a person, he’s a real charmer.  Nate may do fine with a cat-friendly dog but we think he should be the solo cat in his home because he can be a bit of a bully to other felines. Best with gentle children over age 10. Nate is FIV+ but is in good health and is expected to live a normal life, both in quality and duration. Estimated birth date is early 2022. Kitty Bio# 3876MB-Na.   If you're interested in adopting this or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at http://icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to/.  July 26, 2024, 3:02 am

Good with cats, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Apple is a big sweet kitty with an even bigger personality. He is a handsome lynx point Siamese tabby mix with a short tail. He's a strong alpha male. He can’t help but be the center of attention because he is vocal, social and engaging. Apple is smart, independent, and doesn’t hesitate to add his opinion. While not a cuddler he loves being petted. He will be more your pal and companion than your fur baby. He likes to interact and play with other cats and toys. Apple must be on a prescription diet to prevent urinary blockage. The diet has kept it well under control and will be necessary for the rest of his life. His ideal guardian or family is one with experience reading cat body language and who can be confident and firm with him as well as gentle to gain his trust. He needs an adults only home preferably with another cat and would probably be OK with a calm dog. Estimated birth date is September 2020. Story
Tinsel is hoping there is a family out there in need of a fairy that has taken the form of a cat.&#10 Like most mythical creatures he likes to stay completely hidden most of the time. Other times he is an all-seeing eye that watches the activities of the humans below.&#10 He does not like to be looked upon or photographed. And then, inexplicably, he might prove his existence by suddenly appearing on the conference table.&#10 Tinsel has lived in the cupboards at FAAS for a long time, and though we love him, we think he`s ready to admit that it gets a little too quiet at night all alone in an office building.&#10 Do you have space in your pantry to fit a feline with extreme social anxiety? Tinsel would not like to meet you - but he would love to move in.&#10 &#10 * 8 years old&#10 * 10 lbs&#10 * Calico mix&#10 * Well-groomed&#10 * Pretty blue eyes&#10 * People, dogs, other cats, other pets not okay. However, he might change his mind.

Story
Jonesy is an adorable lynx point kitten with striking blue eyes! He loves the spotlight and will seek out your attention right away. He has a lot of energy and loves to play, cuddle, and purr up a storm. He’s also very easygoing and can turn any spot into a napping place. He sleeps in the strangest positions sometimes but always looks beyond comfortable. He’s quite chatty and has a pretty impressive meow for a kitten. He has a lot of energy and loves to be where the action is. He’s a very confident and affectionate kitten who will happily curl up on your lap. He loves to play with his sister Sabine and they complement each other - he likes to use his brawn while she likes to use her brain. Jonesy is very bonded with his sister Sabine, and they would love to be adopted together! Ezra is their brother. We estimate Jonesy was born in early May 2024. Story
Acampo, CA (near Lodi): Hi, my name is Farah! I am a Siamese mix kitty with beautiful blue eyes, a dark face and creamy patches on my white coat. I’m very affectionate, love to be with my foster mom and adore petting time!  I LOVE play time! I am particularly good at sitting on my hind legs and catching the feather toy! I am also excellent at pouncing on my kitty mum Faye when she’s not expecting it. You can see us in our video together here:  https://youtu.be/3m7omlTDJ7I I was born in October 2020, am spayed, up to date on my vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped. I would be happiest in a quiet home with 1-2 adults, and no children, dogs, or other cats. I’m living in a private foster home so please text or call Karen at 209-329-2001 for more information. You can fill out an adoption application online at https://forms.gle/obNDXM5Q4SbNNDH67 and once you are approved, we can meet via video chat!   July 11, 2024, 10:35 pm

Story
Ollivander and Pippin an adorable pair of bonded boys. These distinguished gentlemen are waiting patiently for their new home – is it with you? While they’re initially on the reserved side with new people, once you’ve befriended them, their sweet nature just shines through.   Despite being older cats, both Ollivander and Pippin are a playful duo. Ollivander, aka Ollie, prefers playing with toy mice and balls he can chase and is happy to entertain himself. Pippin also likes chasing after mice, but he also really enjoys leaping high in the air to bat at ribbon toys. He’ll keep you entertained with his acrobatics! Both boys seem to be night owls and like to go on late-night escapades where they eat and play after hours. Ollie has a nightly routine where he patrols the house and checks out every room to keep an eye on what’s going on.   As a bonded pair, Ollie and Pippin have a deep connection with each other and are close. They like to sleep near each other under the covers of a blanket or bed, and often they’ll groom each other. Occasionally they’ll have a little spat that quickly resolves once they give one another space if needed.   Ollie is the more outgoing of the pair and loves seeking out attention from his humans. He can still easily startle, so being in a calm home with a patient adopter will be ideal for him. He loves being pet and getting chin scritches! Pippin is also very sweet and friendly; it just takes a little more time and patience for him to get comfortable with people. He also tends to be very protective of Ollie and may get defensive if you pet Ollie while Pippin is right next to him. A great way to win Pippin’s trust is by offering treats. Both cats are very food motivated, which is convenient as Ollie takes a heart medication pill. It’s very easy to administer—he practically prefers his pill pocket treat more than his actual food!   Ollivander and Pippin are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form!   Best Match:   Seeking an adopter with cat experience Would do best in a quiet home, maybe cat savvy kids and teens Bonded Pair Ollivander needs medicine daily to stay happy and healthy Prefers a home without dogs July 15, 2024, 3:29 pm

Story
Sweet girl Cinder is looking for her forever home! Cinder is a shy but playful young girl — born in July 2022 — so a family with older kids or other cats is recommended. She would make a great addition to any family who is looking for a playmate for their current fur baby(s). Cinder is a beautiful Siamese with bright blue eye and a calm temperament. She is very lovable but just like your typical cat, she will let you know when she wants attention and when she doesn't. She is completely litter-box trained and spayed, as well as microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed. For more information about Cinder, please text Deborah at 510-909-4961 (or leave a message) or email her at angusnfriends@outlook.com. July 26, 2024, 1:02 pm

Story
Troy is an independent and laid-back cat. He's happy to go with the flow and doesn't mind being picked up or petted. Troy's adventurous spirit leads him to explore every corner of his environment, so keep an eye on this curious explorer! This boy takes a bit of time to settle in, but once he does he feels right at home. He would do great as an only cat to an individual who just want their one and only. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, FVRCP vaccinated, treated for fleas, dewormed and microchipped. If interested, please submit an application through our website. https://www.andreasdreamrescue.org/adoptionapplication Send us a message through our contact page with which cat you are interested in and we will be happy to set up a meet & greet! https://www.andreasdreamrescue.org/contact
