Story
Meet Harmony! A 1year old, 33 pound, Female, Doodle mix pup. Harmony, like any puppy, is a high-energy girl who is looking for her daily joys of running as fast as she can, playing with her toys and having anyone and everyone become her instant best friend. Whilst Harmony has high energy, it comes from a lack of stimulation. And we know from experience that Harmony would be an amazing dog with the proper guidance. We have had Harmony sent out to try dog athletics and obstacle courses, and she does amazing. Whilst we do our best, Harmony needs homes with a family that can give her the training, love and focus she needs. And when all is said and done, Harmony is a great cuddler. Harmony thrives on attention, and bonds quickly with anyone who gives her a chance. With a little structure and a lot of love, she’ll blossom into the loyal, affectionate companion she’s meant to be. Harmony might suit best as a sole dog of a home.Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. The best way to get in touch with us is by email: info@secondchancespca.org. Due to the volume of calls, only the most urgent calls will be returned. Story
Hi!! Hudson is looking for a loving home, he is an F1b goldendoodle. Purchased from a breeder($1400 as the runt of the litter) his mom is a chocolate goldendoodle and his dad is a white standard poodle. He would do best with an owner who is home and can be with him all or most of the time, if he is not kenneled, he will eat almost anything; socks, paper, toys, etc. Hudson is great with kids & other pets, he is about as sweet as they come. He has been around another dog and 2 cats his entire life. He loves water, fetch, balls, going hiking and running around outside. His birthday is June 15, 2021 and is fully house trained. While he can still be hyper and vocal(usually in new situations), he is mostly calm and mellow and stays by your side. Unfortunately, I have had some urgent recent health conditions and cannot have the added responsibility at this time. We are crushed to lose him from our family, the small adoption fee is to ensure we find him the right home and family for him.

Story
Ideal Home -Sir Larrington has demands (of course, he does): a yard for energetic zoomies, a canine pal who enjoys romping and playing, a cozy couch for snuggles, and an open view on car-rides. -If you’re looking for a doodle to keep up with an active lifestyle, Larry is the dood. -As with all gentry, he needs a tutor to continue refining his manners and skills. Personality -Sir Larrington is adamant about affection. His hugs and cuddles are undeniable. -Don’t be fooled by his high-falootin’ name, this dood is as goofy as they come. -He enjoys his role as Neighborhood Welcome WAG-gin’, greeting humans and dogs alike on his walks. -After an inauspicious start in a local shelter, Sir Larrington quickly rose through the ranks, impressing everyone with his friendly, playful nature. -He will happily entertain himself if other playmates are busy. He will toss a ball for himself and pounce on it or gently mouth his toys as he winds down for the night. Is Sir Larrington Your Match? Sir Larrington’s adoption fee is $650. He is HW-negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Sir Larrington a second chance. PECAS: Ready to Love Again Ideal Home -Pecas was surrendered to DDR after his person passed away. He is waiting for a special adopter, who will give him space and patience to adjust to his new home and people. -While he enjoys a romp in the yard or a good walk, given time, he’s also delighted to snuggle up on the sofa. -He is best suited for an experienced adult adopter or family with older teens, who can understand his signals when he needs space. -Continued training and positive reinforcement are crucial as he settles into a new environment. Personality -Pecas is sweet, snuggly, and super-smart! He is food-motivated and a quick study. -He loves having time with his people. He has done well with chill fur-buddies in his foster home, but would love to be your one-and-only! -He can’t talk, but manages to communicate very clearly! Between his body language and “grumbles,” he won't make you guess if things are not to his liking. -He tends to remove himself from the situation if he becomes uncomfortable, so adopters who can read and respect his boundaries are best. Pecas’s adoption fee is $650. He is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, neutered, and microchipped. Story
Dakota is a beautiful 1.8-year-old Pyredoodle** who was rescued from an unsafe situation and is now looking for a committed forever family. She’s about 60 lbs, spayed, vaccinated**, and still very much a playful young dog. Dakota is currently doing great with both small and large dogs and especially loves playing with her larger foster sibling. She enjoys two 30-minute walks a day and sleeps comfortably in her kennel at night. A previous adopter reported that Dakota jumped a 6-foot fence and had some issues with other dogs, but we have not seen those behaviors in her current foster home. She has also previously been reported as not good with cats, although her most recent adopter said she peacefully coexisted with one. It depends I guess. Dakota needs a family willing to provide exercise, consistency, patience, and continued training. She’s young, loving, and deserves someone committed to helping her become the wonderful dog we know she can be. And seriously... those eyelashes! **Dallas/Fort Worth, Complete your application today at Chloespetrescue.org/application Mom and dad, one is poodle and the other is a Pyr. Don’t know which was which. Adoption fee is $375

Story
I took him in from someone who could no longer keep him because I didn’t want him to end up in the shelter. He’s still a young puppy and is very sweet, playful, loving, and full of energy. He loves attention and being around people. I’m looking for a safe, loving home with someone who has enough time to give him the attention, training, exercise, and care that a puppy needs. My work schedule has become very demanding, and I want to make sure he has the best life possible with a family who can spend more time with him.

🌸 Meet Paris — A Sweet Girl Learning to Be a Dog! 🐾 Hi, I’m Paris, a 5-year-old recovering breeder dog who is discovering how wonderful life can be. ❤️ So many things are new to me—soft beds, walks, car rides, affection, and having a yard to explore. I’m still a little shy and learning to trust, but every day I’m becoming more confident. A few things about me: 🐕 I LOVE other dogs and would really benefit from a confident, happy dog companion who can show me that new things are safe and fun. 🌿 I LOVE exploring the yard—and I’ve recently discovered that barking at the neighbor’s German Shepherd is pretty fun, too! 😂 🐦 I even get along with my foster bird brother! 🚗 I’m an excellent car rider🚶‍♀️ I’m doing well on walks 🍽️ I have a very good appetite! ❤️ Once I trust you, I love staying close and sleeping beside you 🏡 I’m still learning my potty manners and need patience and consistency I’m not looking for a perfect home—I’m looking for a patient one. I just need someone who will give me time to learn that I’m safe, loved, and finally allowed to just be a dog. Maybe someday, I’ll decide that my favorite place in the world is right beside you. 🐾❤️ Love, Paris 🌸
