Daisy is new to our rescue. She came to us when her breeder closed down. We are still learning about her personality. Her foster says that she is great with dogs of all sizes and adores children. She walks well on a leash and is crate trained. She was a little on the thin side and her foster has been giving her extra snack to help her put on a few pounds. Daisy is AKC registered. They are still learning about the world outside of a kennel setting and will need a patient, understanding home that is willing to give them time to adjust and build confidence at their own pace. They do best with routine, gentle guidance, and positive reinforcement. While initially shy or unsure in new situations, their personality continues to shine more each day. Many breeder-release dogs thrive in homes with another friendly, confident dog to help show them the ropes. He is crate trained, does well with other dogs, but is not comfident with leash skills. They are not a “plug-and-play” dog and will need time to decompress, but with consistency and love, they become incredibly loyal and affectionate companions.
