Laney is the sweetest kitty. She currently lives with a dog and another cat. I am moving and cannot take her and the other cat to our new home. We are sad to put her up for adoption but want her to be in a home where she can get all the attention she deserves.

Story
I have a slide show explaining Mr Walter! He’s a huge cuddler! He needs a water fountain unfortunately as he doesn’t drink still water anymore. He definitely an NOT be with any female cats as that’s why I have to rehome him. He’s got such an awesome personality! He may be a little needy compared to other cats but he’ll brighten up each and every single day of yours!

Story
Oscar is a 5 year-old Tabby I previously rescued - as he was found abandoned in a dumpster when he was a kitten. Due to this - I named him Oscar after "Oscar the Grouch" - but it's ironic because the is a total misnomer for this sweet boy. Oscar is super friendly and cuddly, and he always wants to be in the same room as me, if not sitting next to me. He curls up and sleeps with me every night, and he is overall a very well-behaved cat. Due to the fact he was abandoned as a kitten, he does eat anything he can get into, so you just need to be careful with leaving out food (he will try to eat most human food). The reason I am looking to rehome Oscar is that I am going to be moving into a new house with my girlfriend, and she is very allergic to cats. As difficult as the situation is and as much as I love Oscar, I know he needs to find a new loving home. I am only going to rehome him if I can find someone to adopt him and his brother Arnold (black cat pictured) - as they are bonded.

Story
Shadow was originally found alone on the streets as a kitten and brought to a county shelter. She was subsequently adopted as a gift for an elderly woman who had recently lost her cat. Unfortunately, the woman was moved to memory care where she was not allowed to have pets. Our daughter, knowing of the situation, approached us and asked if we’d be willing to take the kitty. We agreed and have had her with us for approximately five years. At this time we are looking for another loving home due to the stressors of my husband’s struggle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s. Shadow will often settle herself on my husband’s lap, or curl up next to one of us as we are sleeping. Being a typical cat she does this (and most things) at her own discretion. She can be playful, curious and entertaining, as well as shy and self protective with new people. She has lived in a home with a small dog, but not with children. She tolerates our grandchildren when they visit, but prefers to maintain her distance.

Story
Fiona is a sweet girl, talkative and playful for being 6 years old. She is good with people of all ages, but can be a little shy at first. Once she is comfortable with you, she will cuddle and climb up on your chest for attention, loves and just to cuddle. She also has a higher pitched "happy purr" :) She purrs, a lot, but when she is really happy, you can hear a slightly higher pitch purr on top of her normal purr tone. She loves windows and tends to be the nosey neighbor. She loves the sun and will squeeze herself into any sunlight she can. She would be a great addition to any home who is looking for a sweet addition to their home.

Story
Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com . If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~* *

Story
Dilly, an affectionate brown/black tabby kitten, was born July 2023. He was found injured behind a store. Dilly has agouti speckled fur and polydactyl feet. If he knows you, he is okay being picked up and held, plus reaches up to touch your nose. When you sit, he will jump in to your lap or will let you place him in your lap, staying for short sessions of petting and brushing. Dilly often rolls over for tummy stroking, and he likes to sleep with you. Dilly likes the foster family’s young dog and plays with him. He likes kittens plus passive adult female cats. He hides from active kids and is shy around strangers. Dilly likes to supervise the cleaning of the litterbox and occasionally is underfoot. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Dilly would do best with another pet for a friend. Foster kitten pals are available. If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Meet Gypsy! - a brown, tan, black and white female tabby who was found as a stray. The vet thinks she was born around June 2023. Gypsy is quiet, mellow and affectionate on her terms. She is friendly with trusted folks, tolerates being picked up for a short time. Gypsy likes brushing, petting, playing with toys if there is no competition. She will jump into your lap when you sit, staying for short periods of time. Gypsy lives with an active dog and other cats, all of which she gets along with. She hasn’t met children, but will do well if they are respectful and gentle. She is friendly with strangers after around 20 minutes. She uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. I’m Banoffee, a debonair little dude with soft, short fur and the heart of a rascal. I’m all about playtime—especially with my siblings, who would probably tell you I’m the one who always keeps things lively! My current obsession? Q-tips. If you leave them lying around, they’re mine, no questions asked. I do like playing with other toys too - so hopefully you have a big toy basket for me! I recently discovered cuddling, and it’s actually pretty great—so I might just start curling up with you once I’m all tuckered out from playtime. I’m ready to bring a little adventure (and maybe a few stolen Q-tips) into a new forever home! Please note that this is a strictly indoor cat. This kitten may may require a home with another kitten as kittens are family oriented and do best when adopted in littermate pairs. I’m Jet, a gorgeous female Domestic Shorthair kitten. Mom says I’m the runt of the bunch but don’t let that fool ya because I can hold my own. In fact, one of my favorite activities is holding wrestling matches with my siblings…even Carnelian, he’s twice my size but I can take ‘em! Having said that, I truly am a very sweet girl who loves spending time with my siblings especially Jade and Onyx and when I’m not hanging out with them, I enjoy playing with toys and exploring the house. All I need now is YOU…a patient, unconditionally loving fur-ever family that will NEVER give up on me. Share your life with me and I promise I will love you bigger than the universe! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.      Hello new friend, I’m Lu, the spunky little kitty fully of energy and snuggles! I may be smaller than my brother, but I still am a great wrestler and hold my own when we play. I really love my brother (Loki), we do everything together, like snuggling when we sleep, eating, playing, and climbing all over my foster mom. If you adopt me, I’d love if you’d also adopt my brother so we can continue being BFFs! I love to climb and play with any cat toy I see, so entertaining me will not be a problem. I’m very curious about new things and come right up to meet new people and play with them. I’ve met the resident cats and dog in my foster mom’s house, but I’m not roaming the house with them yet. If you have other pets in the home, I’m sure I’ll love them just like my brother with some gradual introductions and training. I haven’t met kids yet, but my foster mom thinks I’ll do just fine based on my friendliness towards the new people I’ve met so far. I’m a very confident kitty because I know how to use the litter box all on my own, but sometimes I get a little too excited and kick the litter out of the box, so a high-walled or covered litter box would be best for me. I do a good job eating kibble and canned food and sharing with my brother and mom. I did a good job when I was sleeping and my mom cut my nails, and I’m learning about being brushed. I like it but I don’t always understand that we aren’t playing, so it’s best to do those things when I’m relaxed or sleeping. Please note that this is a strictly indoor cat.
