Story
Josie is a very sweet cat and loves affection. We are only trying to find a new home for her because she happens to enjoy pulling up the edges of our carpet and pulling the threads out. Otherwise, she is really well-behaved and will be hard to give to a new home. But, we will as we can no longer tolerate the carpet pulling. When we have had a dog visiting the house, she is not aggressive, but will hide or keep her distance. She loves one of our other cats, and can be a bit moody with the other.

Story
Faye is an adorable tabby who will be 4 years old in March. She is spayed. She's lived in my home with my other cat amicably, however she is very shy around new people and animals. She's a snuggly, chubby, loving girl who sleeps more than anything and would do best in a quieter home with no dogs. Unfortunately, I adopted a puppy awhile ago and poor Faye has made zero progress adjusting. She stays hiding in the back of the closet and has been eating on and off. It's no life for her and I'd like to find someone to give her the stress-free, calm home she needs. She's always been healthy, so no special needs. I can provide her carrier and her favorite blanket, and bag of the food she eats. I only ask that her new owner be loving and patient with her as she is very shy.

Story
Mett Flory! Flory was born to an abandoned mom cat in August 2024. This quiet, brown tabby female is friendly with trusted folks, avoidant of strangers, and is affectionate on her terms. She watches for you at the window, greets you at the door, ankle rubs, and follows you. At this stage she doesn’t want to be held or stay in your lap. She enjoys brushing and likes to sit in front of you, watching you. She is treat motivated, Flory plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She has met kids and finds them too busy and active, so she hides. Flory would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. She needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/ If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Nina is a tuxedo beauty, estimated to be around 2 years old, who was found wandering the streets of Frogtown. Despite her rough start and unknown history, she’s proven to be incredibly friendly and affectionate. The moment you give her attention, she leans in, purrs up a storm, and soaks up all the love she can get! Nina let you know she wants attention by giving you the cutest little head butts, and loves to greet you nose to nose. She has darling little mustache markings, and one black toe on her white socks! Although Nina is active and likes to play, she REALLY loves people and likes to be near them snuggling - she’s so eager for human companionship and craves being close to her people. Nina would do best in a home as with another kitty where she can be the leader. If you're looking for a pair of cats, Nina is a lovely complementary companion to her foster friend, Focaccia. We're not sure how she is with dogs.  If you’re looking for a sweet and loving companion to share your days with, Nina might just be the perfect match for you! Nina is currently fostered in St Paul.
