Story
I took in Momo after an elderly friend of mine could no longer care for her. She is the sweetest little girl but definitely needs someone who is around often. I think someone who works from home or is retired. Sadly I work 10 hour days and cannot keep her. She would do best in a home with no other animals. She is great with people. She has a sensitive digestive system and needs to eat multiple small meals daily. I have brought her to a few different vets trying to figure out if anything is wrong but they couldn't find any problems. So she is on a strict diet of the brand Smalls wet food and that helps immensely. She does still throw up a few times a week. She likes to snuggle, mild play and loves to talk. An owner who wants to be a caregiver that has to do a few extra things is ideal for her. Though she has digestive issues she is still a super fun, loving little girl.

Story
My wife and I adopted Elwood and Otto when they were kittens. They were part of a litter of 3 kittens found on a farm in 2014. They are the sweetest cats I have ever been around. Elwood will let you hold him as long as you like. Otto loves snuggling up on your left side. They love attention like all good cats. You can't pet these boys enough. Elwood is larger than Otto. They are about 14 and 11 pounds, respectively. We are looking for a new home for them because they have not adjusted well to us having a child. We no longer can give them our undivided attention and that has been particularly difficult for Elwood who has urinated in various spots in the home to express his unhappiness. Our son crawls after them. We keep him from grabbing them, but we believe it still stresses them out. I took them in for their annual checkup in February. They are both in great health. Elwood has slight asthma but does not require medication.

Story
Meet Sosa 💛 Sosa is a sweet 8–9 year old cat I’ve had since she was a kitten. She has a lot of love to give and enjoys being around her person. She is a more vocal cat and can be sensitive, so she would do best in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and understood. She may need someone experienced with cats who can give her a little extra attention. This is not an easy decision for me, but I want to make sure she has the best environment for her needs, especially with an upcoming move. If you or someone you know might be a good fit, please reach out 💛

Story
Penny is a very sweet 7 year old tabby. We just recently welcomed a new baby and penny is not reacting well and is reclusive and not using her litter box. She never had issues until the baby so she would ideally go to a home with older kids or none at all

This is Araya. She is a quiet, sweet, and affectionate cat who loves cuddles and makes the perfect companion. Due to my current living situation, I’m unfortunately unable to keep her and am looking for a safe, loving home where she will be cared for and given the attention she deserves.

Story
Sunshine, a male orange tabby was born around April 2020. He was found by a resident and turned into the Rescue. He occasionally talks at meal times. Sunny hasn’t met dogs or kids under age eight. With proper introductions he gets along with most cats and he’d enjoy another cat for a pal. The foster mom says he is sweet, smart, friendly with known people, and affectionate on his terms. Sunny is shy/avoidant of strangers. At this stage, he is uncomfortable being picked up. Sunny likes playing with interactive wand toys and watching birds at the window. He has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Are you the patient person willing to give him time to trust and blossom in a new setting and you be rewarded with a special relationship with him? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com . If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~* *

Story
Meet Endora! A beautiful tortie girl who is able to pull out the famed "Tortitude" we all know and love whenever the mood strikes her, Endora is actually a sweet marshmallow with a brave exterior. When she first came into rescue, she was the biggest "hissy spitty" kitten of the group. She was going to let us know who was boss from the get go, and would hiss and spit (all two pounds of her!) when she was first confronted with the horrors of becoming an indoor kitten. Very quickly, with the help of her favorite tasty treats, she came around to the idea that people aren't so bad after all. Fast forward to today, and she is a complete and total love who purrs and adores attention from her foster mom with the rest of her kitten crew!   Endora adores her brother, Dr. Bombay. For this reason, they are looking for a forever home together. Could Endora be the sweetheart you've been seeking?   LET'S MEET!  Please email s.o.s.representative@gmail.com for an adoption application.  I am available for meet and greets with pre-approved applicants!     ADOPTION INFORMATION: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriate), Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, de-parasited & micro-chipped before being adopted out.  Our adoption fee is $275, including the required MN sales tax.  All applicants must meet our adoptable cats in person.  We do not ship any of our animals to adopters. Thank you and please contact us with any questions. March 11, 2026, 12:47 pm

Story
Reintroducing SIMBA! This stunning nine year old boy is 99% lover and 1% cranky neighbor who doesn’t want any fellow cats playing in his “yard.” Simba came to us over a year ago after being rescued from euthanasia. He was overweight, diabetic, matted, had skin and nail infections, diabetic neuropathy, and was in desperate need of a dental. After shaving off some pounds, treating his infections, a dental visit, and some loving attention, Simba has been restored to his former glorious self and is now ready for a long-term foster home as his current foster is relocating to another state.   Simba loves being brushed head to toe, chin rubs, and attention of any kind. He responds by drooling in joy and with a roaring purr. Belly rubs? No problem here – he’ll happily present his belly (and everything else) for an extended tummy tickle or a four paw nail trim. Talk about easy – if we didn’t know any better…we’d think he had professional groomer experience. He is adorably wobbly (uncertain of cause but could be residual diabetic neuropathy) so we have added a supplement to his food to try and boost his strength. To date, his weakened back end has gotten no better or worse and does not impede his “zoomies” after a good litter box visit! Another fun fact about wobbly cats? It means Simba is the polar opposite of a counter jumper! As a matter of fact, if he needs to get on anything higher than a couch...pet stairs do the trick. He will want a set by your bed as his favorite place to sleep is with you. Simba has been in diabetic remission for over a year and has not been on any insulin. We hope to keep him that way by controlling his diet and occasional glucose monitoring.   He comes with a lifetime commitment of litter, food, meds, and all the vet care needed for the rest of life. What he needs is a soft, loving place to fall, and a pet parent who will be patient getting him settled into new surroundings. His ideal home would be a quieter one. Maybe with someone who works from home (or no longer works) who has no other pets. He’s been waiting a long time for the right home and we are committed to providing everything a new foster needs. All you need to add is love (and twice a day feedings).   Who wants to meet this boy and discuss adding him to your family? LET'S MEET! Please email s.o.s.representative@gmail.com for an application to be Simba's long-term foster. Simba is available for meet and greets with pre-approved applicants!   ADOPTION INFORMATION: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriate), Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, de-parasited & micro-chipped before being adopted out. Story
Lucy is an 11 year old cat of unknown breed! I adopted her from my coworker when she was 8 weeks old, and she immediately bonded to my other cat Max. Max and Lucy are completely bonded cats and have to be adopted together. Lucy is Maxs opposite :) She is very shy and skittish, she will not come out around new people but is comfortable around her people. She will hardly ever approach you, but accepts love that is given to her :). she is very very sweet and has never once been aggressive (neither has max), but is extremely shy. She loves Max more than anything and will often be found snuggling with him. Lucy is a super laid back, easy going cat. She is indifferent about children and doesn’t like dogs (she is terrified of them).
