Story
Miles is a good cat. He likes to lay on my lap, look at the birds out the window, catch mice in the basement, and lounge in his cat tree. He is 6 years old. We originally got him from a foster organization. We are only rehoming him because our lives have become very financially and generally stressful as my wife has had a lot of health issues in the last few years. She had to stop working for a while so we are no longer able to afford him. We would love to find a good home for him. He gets along fine with our kids but isn't super friendly with them. Just keeps his distance. He does playfully swat at our dog as he walks by, but nothing more than that. They're not friends but there's no animosity.

Story
I received Kanna (kaw-nuh) from my sister who got her as a kitten for her child who was wanting a cat. She came to realize that Kanna was nervous around children and often hid most of the time. That's when I decided to adopt her about 12 years ago. She's a very quiet well behaved cat who mostly keeps to herself, but will usually ask for cuddles and pets once a day, maybe twice. She has lived with other cats in the past and she will tolerate them, but she does best without other pets in the house. She is afraid of dogs and will hide if one is nearby. She would do well with older children who can be calm, quiet, and gentle, but she will be skiddish around small children. She loves sunlight and warm spots. She likes pate and dry food. She has not been declawed so we keep scratching posts in the house for her. She will be hesitant to strangers at first but with time and developing trust she will become very cuddly and affectionate.

Story
Colby is a super sociable, friendly 6 year old big orange tabby cat. He loves cuddles, toys, and belly scratches, as well as lounging in the window sill. He's fully house trained and also LOVES shoes for some reason. My wife has been his only owner, but sadly he does not get along with our other cat. We think that she never welcomed him fully and therefore he takes medication for anxiety. He has had urine crystals in the past, for which the vet prescribed urinary care food. We have also added a baby to the home which has caused additional anxiety. Colby would do best in a home with few other pets, he is a bundle of joy and active young cat. Colby has not spent much time with dogs but is good with older kids or kids that he has a chance to get used to. A welcoming cat may also be a good fit for Colby as he is extremely social.

Story
Zoey is 1 year old. Very clingy, loves attention and cuddling, loves to eat. She is scared to transitions at first and will stay still a lot. She’s a big cat for her age, very long. She’s pretty desensitized. She likes to play with litter so use as little as possible (but still enough). Zoey loves new people and everyone loves her. Unfortunately she can be high maintenance since she loves attention and it’s too much for college student apt life, and I am mildly allergic and my sister is pretty allergic. We’re moving to a new college house with more girls and cannot take her.

He is definitely a cuddler is loves to be rubbed and is friendly to other animals. I have had him for about 6 years, I’m heartbroken that I have to give him away, I just know it’s a better family that can give him the loves he deserves

Story
Mellie is a 13 year old Tabby cat, who is declawed, spayed, and does not try to leave the house. She's kind, and loving, and mostly sticks to herself. But she has never been a big fan of kids or other pets, and has recently gone into extended hiding trying to avoid our 3 kids and 2 other cats. My parents took her in for a few months, and she's adjusted great! She's so kind, just wants to rub your leg when you're around, and will sit close by when you're watching TV. She's never had an accident, she very clean. No issues with health or concerns. We love her, which is why we are trying to find a better housing situation for her, as our house does not make her happy. Would love to give her to a loving older couple who wants companionship. She will thrive. We have the ability to keep her in a separate room from the other cats for the time being, but know this is not a permanent solution. She's also excellent at killing mice! Please let me know if Mellie would be a good fit for your home!

Story
Pippa came to our family from a friend who had adopted her simply to help rehouse her since she had been waiting a long time. Pippa is roughly 3 years old, very sweet, playful, and a night time cuddler. She enjoys chasing her toys both alone and with someone, zooming around, adores anyone and everyone, loves pets, and butt pats, and adores bird/squirrel watching in windows.Pippa was living with a dog prior to us and did well, but had a hard time when we pet sat a family members cat. She is very good with kids.Unfortunately, Pippa has been peeing on our basement carpet in various corners and despite our best efforts we haven't been able to correct this behavior. She has never peed on other things such as blankets, clothing, rugs, or other types of flooring, and uses her litter box otherwise very consistently. She would likely benefit from a home without carpeting or limited access to carpeted spaces.Adoption fee includes two litter boxes + litter, cat carrier, food tree and water bowl.

Story
Luna will be 5 years old this August, but she still has the energy and curiosity of a kitten. She loves to "talk," rub against your legs, and play. She's incredibly soft, surprisingly muscular, and sheds a normal amount. She's not a big lap cat, but likes to stay in your orbit and give headbutts. Her favorite things include looking out the window, sleeping under the couch, wand toys, towers, kicker toys, and carpet or rope/sisal-textures. She's shy around strangers, but she's well behaved at the vet and the groomer.Luna is highly food-motivated, making her easy to train with treats. She's respectful with her claws and, if she's had enough petting, will usually give a gentle warning tap. Most of the time she's happy to be pet all over. She dislikes nail trims and nail caps. She is an indoor-only cat and would do best in a home with multiple people or another friendly pet to play with. She's previously lived with infants, dogs, and other cats. I'm rehoming due to allergies.
