Story
Hi hi! This is Six, he is a little over 1 year old and we are trying to find him a new home. I got him when he was just 4 weeks old and have been raising him alone ever since. Because I am moving to be closer to family, as much as I would love to, I unfortunately will not be able to keep him in my care any longer. Which is why we are looking for a new family for him. Six is a very lively cat, he’s very communicative, friendly, and absolutely loves cuddles. He also is a very social cat and enjoys the company of other animals. He is a little shy and it takes him a while to warm up to people, but he is such a sweetheart once you get through to him.

Story
Bruno and Hans are bonded orange tabby brothers, born in 2012, and they are looking for a new home together in the Minneapolis area. They are neutered, up to date on all vaccines (as of February), and have no major health issues. These sweet seniors are inseparable and must be adopted as a pair. They recently adjusted well to a new apartment and litter box setup, and they do well with both cats and dogs. Their owner recently passed away, so we are urgently trying to find them a loving, stable home where they can stay together.

Story
Benji is a very special little guy with a big personality. Hes playful, curious, snuggly, and just the right amount of mischievous-especially when he gets bored! He loves being close to his people and will happily help if you work from home. Benji is an adventurous climber, so a home with a cat tree or vertical space is a must for him. Despite his small size, hes quite the acrobat and will keep you entertained with his antics. For safety, he is currently kept in a large dog kennel when left alone, as he is still tiny and exploring the world. He does well around other cats and dogs and enjoys being part of a multi-pet household. While he has toys of his own, Benji has a funny habit of pulling dog toys out of the basket instead of playing with his own though wand toys are definitely his Kryptonite! We estimate Benji to be around 8-9 weeks old and he weighs approximately 1.4 lbs. He is already litter box trained and off to a great start. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, and entertaining companion, Benji would make a wonderful addition to your home! All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting this cat please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting.

Story
Miles is a good cat. He likes to lay on my lap, look at the birds out the window, catch mice in the basement, and lounge in his cat tree. He is 6 years old. We originally got him from a foster organization. We are only rehoming him because our lives have become very financially and generally stressful as my wife has had a lot of health issues in the last few years. She had to stop working for a while so we are no longer able to afford him. We would love to find a good home for him. He gets along fine with our kids but isn't super friendly with them. Just keeps his distance. He does playfully swat at our dog as he walks by, but nothing more than that. They're not friends but there's no animosity.

Story
I took in Momo after an elderly friend of mine could no longer care for her. She is the sweetest little girl but definitely needs someone who is around often. I think someone who works from home or is retired. Sadly I work 10 hour days and cannot keep her. She would do best in a home with no other animals. She is great with people. She has a sensitive digestive system and needs to eat multiple small meals daily. I have brought her to a few different vets trying to figure out if anything is wrong but they couldn't find any problems. I have her on a strict wet food diet but she does still throw up a few times a week. She likes to snuggle, mild play and loves to talk. An owner who wants to be a caregiver that has to do a few extra things is ideal for her. I think if someone took the time to try and problem solve food allergies this may be her issue. Though she has digestive issues she is still a super fun, loving little girl.

Meet Tabitha. Tabitha is about 3 years old. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, felv/fiv tested negative. Tabitha is a little shy at first but once she is comfortable with her surroundings she is quite affectionate and a lap cat. She doesn't do well with other cats but does well with well mannered dogs. Tabitha is a very active and curious cat. She was adopted and returned because of her activity level. She will open kitchen cabinets to see what's inside. For more information on Tabitha, please contact Cause for Paws at cause4paws@hotmail.com or leave a message on our voice mail at 952-259-1483.

Story
Flick came to Cause for Paws on 1/2/2026. He was 7 months at the time. He had an injury on his foot that we tried to treat with medication and also a broken bone on that foot. The wound was not responding to the medication so the only other option was to remove the leg. While he only has 3 legs you would hardly know it!! He is a lap cat and loves hanging around you when you are sitting on the couch. Flick is a very sweet cat. He has met other adult cats but hasn't found the right match. He likes to play rough which does not go over very well with some of the other cats in his foster home. He has been around a dog and seems to do o.k. Flick probably would do o.k. in a home with a well-behaved dog. Flick would do well as an only cat or in a home with a kitten. He has very little mobility issues. Flick has no problem jumping up on the couch or bed, using stairs or getting on low scratching posts. He uses the litterbox without any issues. The only thing he does struggle with is high vertical cat towers without easy levels when jumping down. There are no children in his foster home so we do not know how he will do with children. Flick is an energetic boy and would be a wonderful addition to a home where he can get a lot of attention. If you would like to meet Flick please call us at our voicemail at 952-259-1483 and leave your name and telephone number or email us at cause4paws@hotmal.com His adoption fee is $225 (includes tax)

Story
Lucy Lou is an adorable one year old orange and white girl with four perfect white mittens and striking golden eyes. She’s a sweet, gentle soul with just the right mix of playful energy and cozy charm. Lucy Lou loves chasing her toy mouse, bouncing after springs, and darting after a kitty teaser playtime is one of her favorites! When she’s done playing, she’s all about affection. She’ll confidently plop down in front of your feet and roll over, requesting a well-deserved belly rub (one of her absolute favorite things!). She enjoys napping in her kitty condo or gazing out the window, keeping a watchful eye on the birds, squirrels, and rabbits outside. Lucy Lou has a very important condition for her forever home: she needs to be adopted with her best buddy, Eddie. She hasn’t met any dogs yet, so her reaction to them is unknown. If you are looking for a confident, cuddly companion who will fill your days with playfulness and purrs, Lucy Lou might be the perfect match for you! Lucy Lou has been felv/fiv tested twice (negative), vaccinated, microchipped, and of course spayed. She is ready to go to her forever home. For more information on Lucy Lou, please contact Cause for Paws at cause4paws@hotmail.com or call our voice mail at 952-259-1483. The adoption fee is $225 and includes sales tax. Thank you!
